Daily Inspiration: Meet Tiffany Sutton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Sutton.

Hi Tiffany, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My grandmother, Daisy, was known for baking for church fundraisers, family gatherings, and friends. She expressed love and generosity through every dessert she made, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who tasted her creations. Watching her in the kitchen inspired my own love for baking at an early age. I began baking when I was just 8 or 9 years old, starting with pound cakes and Sweet Potato Pies, and that passion has remained with me ever since. After my grandmother passed away in 2016, I chose to turn my pain into passion by launching Pink Daisy’s Sweet Shop, a business named in her honor. What began as a tribute to her legacy has grown into something deeply meaningful a way to continue sharing the joy, comfort, and connection she gave so freely to others. As this year marks ten years since her passing, I wanted to celebrate her memory in a new and lasting way. I created a coloring book that also tells a heartfelt story, allowing me to share her legacy with the world while highlighting the importance of nurturing relationships between grandparents and grandchildren. It is both a tribute to her life and a reminder of the powerful role family bonds play across generations.

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Along the way, I have experienced the many ups and downs of entrepreneurship. Balancing motherhood and managing family responsibilities while growing a brand requires dedication, patience, and sacrifice. I have also faced slow seasons and learned many lessons through trial and error. However, those challenges have taught me resilience, strong time management, and the importance of staying focused on my goals.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am the proud owner of Pink Daisy’s Sweet Shop, where I create homemade desserts inspired by family tradition and made with love. My specialties include custom cakes, cookies, candy apples, chocolate & candy covered desserts, pound cakes, pies, and a variety of other sweet creations designed to bring joy and sweet memories to every customer. I also teach children and seniors cake decorating, sharing my passion for baking through creativity and hands-on learning. My business is deeply rooted in the legacy of my grandmother, whose love for baking first sparked my passion.

I am known for creating desserts that are not only delicious but also thoughtful and memorable. Each order is prepared with care, creativity, and love to make every customer feel celebrated and appreciated.

What I am most proud of is turning something I love into a successful business while keeping my grandmother’s memory alive and creating a legacy for my family. I am also proud to have expanded that legacy through a coloring book that honors the special bond between grandparents and grandchildren.

What makes me different is the passion and purpose behind everything I do. My business is about more than desserts. It is about love, family, tradition, teaching others, and creating moments that people will always remember.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
I have a daughter who is almost two years old, and I want to pour into her the same love, wisdom, and values that my grandmother and mother poured into me. She is right beside me along with my sons and husband, watching this journey unfold. My hope is to teach and inspire her the way Grandma Daisy Mae inspired me, and that one day it becomes her passion as well.
