Today we’d like to introduce you to Antonio Amin.
Hi Antonio, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Antonio Amin, was born the 3rd of January of 1977 at the city of Caracas
Venezuela. After 2 years he moved to the city of Maracay where he began school
studies.
At the age of 10, he discovered his musical attributes by learning how to play
the guitar by himself; in addition, at age of 12 he adds his voice to the guitar,
developing virtues as a singer. At the age of 14 he composed his first theme, he started
several garage bands among his school friends in which he also participated as a bass
player.
When turned 18 at the “El Buho” Bar, the young singer wins the first place in
a Karaoke contest with the song “No Rain” from Blind Melon. The same night Alfonzo
Otamendi, a guitar player from Maracay city, asked him to join a music band with Luis
Otamendi on the bass, Ricardo Arandia Guitar and JoséAmin, (Antonio ́s older
brother) on the drums.
In the year 1995 EA was born. Influenced by the 80 ́s pop Rock the band began
showcasing in different Pubs and Bars from Maracay and Valencia cities, positioning
the band as the most favorite one in the center of the country. In 1998, Antonio,
acquires his artistic name TOÑO EA.
At the same time, he was studying a bachelor’s degree in musical studies at
the “Pedagógico” of Maracay city.
They record their first LP album in 1997 titled “EA” with 10 songs, all written and
composed by “Antonio Amin” highlighting the song “LA PRIMA” that reaches the top
rating at the local radios.
Between the year 2000 and 2003 they accomplished more than 400 shows. In 2004
the music band is hired to work several times at Curacao and Bonaire islands where
they earn a big amount of fans, positioning the band as one of the best among the
islands. TOÑO EA (Antonio Amin) participates as a jury, in a talent competition called
CURAZAO IDOL, receiving an award as a special guest at the island.
In 2004 Antonio became a professional musician, receiving the title of “GRADUTE IN
MUSICAL ARTS”.
By receiving an invitation of the hollandaise producer ANTE HOFF to the KWOAKE
Festival in Amsterdam, opened up the doors of that country to the band, which will
turn in many shows in the year. In 2005, after their successful visit to Amsterdam, they
began the KICK ASS TOUR EA 2005 that will take them around different cities of
Holland, Germany and Spain.
Within their performances in Holland we can point out the one at the
prestigious place called “MELKWEEG” located in Amsterdam having a sold out.
Besides, Antonio Amin is awarded as the best voice at the Leeuwarden Awards and
also considered as Revelation artist.
During their tour in Holland, he composed and recorded his second CD called “EA
PACHANGA STAR” whit 9 original songs from Antonio Amin and produced by the
guitar player Efrain Gonzalez and Key board player Angel Moreno in which the song
“SI VAS”, claimed within the first positions in the ranking of ONE FM radio station from
Friësland, city where also the video clip of the song was recorded. Success kept coming
to the band in the years 2006 and 2007 breaking the record for a Venezuelan music
band of 265 alive shows in one year.
By the year 2008 they visit the United States of America for the first time to
make promotional tours gaining the attention of the media and the Hispanic
population. They visited Miami, Orlando, New York and Los Angeles.
In the 2009 “EA” shares the stage with “Maroon 5” and “Duran Duran”. At the Movistar

Also in 2009 start the EAFest a music and art festival founded by Antonio Amin in
2009 in Maracay, Venezuela. Since then, it has been held annually in December and
has become a flagship event for the local artistic community. The festival was created
with the purpose of supporting and promoting emerging talent in the arts and music,
providing a platform for independent artists and fostering culture in the region.
Antonio Amin, also known as EA, is a Venezuelan musician and producer based in Miami.
In addition to his artistic career, he has been involved in the organization and direction of
EAFest, establishing it as a space for artistic expression and cultural innovation. His
commitment to the development of the festival has significantly contributed to the growth
of the artistic scene in Maracay and has played a role in promoting local artists.
In 2015, Antonio Amin formalized his initiative by registering EAFest Corp. as a for-profit
corporation in the state of Florida, United States. The company is headquartered in Doral,
Florida, and remains active, reflecting Amin’s ongoing commitment to the expansion and professionalization of the festival.
In the mid 2011 they launched their 4th CD, a compilation of their last 15 years of
musical career where Antonio Amin pay tribute to the musicians who had supported
him, focusing on the theme “CALLING TO DANCE” where the album “EA 15” is sold by
the first time through the web by “ITUNES”. The CD is distributed in Venezuela by
music store chains like Esperanto and Recordland among others.
In 2011 they sign a new record deal for their promotion in USA with “SATGE COAST”,
who takes them to promotional tours.
By Christmas 2011 they win as the best national band in the awards “MAS QUE
RUMBAS 2011”.
In February 2012 they finished the promotional tour at the “GRAND
CENTRAL” Miami, and “TERRACE 390” in Orlando as a sold out.
2013 begins with his single titled “RUN AWAY” from his next album called “GALAXY”,
that reaches the first top ranking on the Venezuelan Pop Rock list almost immediately
after launching, next, they performance a tour around 12 cities of Venezuela, also
Curacao, Dominican Republic and USA.
Later with their theme “FOREVER”, at the end of the year, they kept touring around,
closing in Caracas with a concert at the amphitheater “EL HATILLO”.
By 2014 Antonio Amin moved to miami and the city became his base for arts and music carrer since.
kept promoting the themes from his album “GALAXY” where the video clip of
the song “DUST OF UNIVERSE” was done in Curacao, and the video clip “EMOTIONS”
was done between Miami, USA, Maracay, Venezuela and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
In 2015 they performed for the first time in Dominican Republic at the Hard Rock Café
Santo Domingo.
In the 2016 Antonio Amin and his friend Yhonny Atella composed the theme “SIGUE
LA VIDA”, LIFE GOES ON, and record the video clip in Miami with Alain Maiki and
Jefferson Cardenas where Antonio shows his abilities as an actor, with the company of
the pretty actress Laura Chimaras. The theme “SIGUE LA VIDA” skyrocketed the first
place of the Venezuelan Record Report Chart in the gender of Rock within 6 weeks
from his debut. The video clip reach the Million streams in YouTube
Between 2017 and 2020, Antonio Amin continued performing as EA in the United States,
while also becoming part of the Noxo Studios team in Miami, working on various
audiovisual projects as a writer, composer, and producer. He won the Mindfield Film
Festival Best Script Award for his writing work on Don’t Text and Walk, a short film shot
by Noxo Studios in Miami. He also participated in the music composition and production
of several projects by the renowned Luis Chataing.
During the pandemic, Antonio Amin reinvented his show and performed several online
concerts to please his audience and avoid fading away during the pandemic cycle. By 2021,
they launched their show THE SOUND OF RETRO, which they continue to tour around
the world with great success. It is a show that takes the audience on a musical journey
through the greatest eras of art, playing with nostalgia and the joy of reliving memories
through songs.
In 2025, Antonio Amin celebrates 30 years of his music career, and did a world tour the opening aln closing show were made in Miami Flamingo theater Brickell
For 2026 EA will go on tour with. a brand new show dedicated to the music of the 90s THE SOUND OF 90S EA SHOW starting June 5th in Miami
Antonio Amin keeps growing more and more along the time, thanks to his constant
work and dedication in his wonderful career.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The process of becoming an artist has honestly been very enjoyable. I’ve enjoyed every stage of my career, but without a doubt the hardest part was having to leave my home country, Venezuela, to settle in Miami. However, it was the best decision, since Miami is undoubtedly the epicenter of music and the arts in this decade. It’s amazing to see how Miami has grown and how it pushes you to grow and be better. I’m completely hooked on and in love with this city—these 10 years here have without a doubt been the best of my career.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m Antonio Amin. I’m a musician—vocalist, instrumentalist, composer, and producer—since the age of 18. My stage name is EA. From 1995 to 2015, I lived in Venezuela, and from there I traveled around the world performing my show. During that period, I worked on five albums of original music, one of which became a top-charting record in my country.
Since 2015, I’ve been living in the city of Miami. At first, the adaptation wasn’t easy, but Miami is a multicultural city where you can grow quickly. Here, I continued my music career, increasing the number of performances and recording two more albums. Today, I celebrate 30 years of my artistic career.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
I learned that walking the path is more important than reaching the destination; that success isn’t measured by fame, but by the recognition of the people you surround yourself with, the number of friends you add to your circle in life, and the lives you change through music.
