Community Highlights: Meet Soraya Pastor of We Bossa, Interior Design

Today we’d like to introduce you to Soraya Pastor.

Hi Soraya, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We Bossa is a Miami-based interior design studio led by Soraya Pastor and Regina Vargas. We focus on high-end residential interiors, creating spaces that feel personal, layered, and built to last.
Our work is very much about balance—there’s always a strong architectural clarity, but also a tactile side to it. Materials, texture, and detail are important to us, and every element is chosen with intention so the space feels cohesive and calm over time.
The studio really came together through years of working on residential projects in Miami. We realized we shared a similar way of approaching space—less about style, more about proportion, material, and how a home is actually experienced. Bringing that into one studio made the work more focused and consistent.
Today, we’re working on projects across the city, including residences at Five Park Miami Beach, Aston Martin Residences Miami, Murano Grande, Brickell Flatiron, and Aria Reserve.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As the work has grown, so has its complexity.
We’re very detail-oriented, and each project is treated as something unique. That requires a high level of personal involvement, so the challenge is balancing that with growth—being thoughtful about how many projects we take on while maintaining the same level of care.
For that reason, we keep the number of projects intentionally limited. It allows us to stay closely involved and ensure consistency from concept through completion.

We’ve been impressed with We Bossa, Interior Design, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At We Bossa, we begin by understanding the client on a deeper level—what moves them, how they want to experience their home, and what they are drawn to. From there, we respond to both the client and the space—its location, its architecture, and its existing elements—to create something specific and entirely unique.
Our work is rooted in material and detail. We are interested in how things feel—texture, weight, and the way materials evolve over time. These decisions shape the atmosphere of a space and give it depth and presence.
Each project is developed with intention. We don’t follow a formula or repeat solutions. Everything is considered in relation to the whole, creating a balance between clarity and richness.
We remain closely involved throughout the process, from the early stages through the final layers. That level of attention allows the work to stay precise and consistent as it develops.
The result is a space with presence—one that feels composed, personal, and elevates the way it is lived in.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
We Bossa is an interior design studio working across high-end residential projects, from initial concept through completion, including final styling and art curation.
Some collaborations begin alongside the architectural phase, allowing the project to be shaped from the ground up. Others focus on refining an existing space—bringing it to completion through materials, furnishings, and curated pieces.
Over time, we have developed a close network of contractors, millworkers, artisans, and specialized vendors. These relationships are key to the work. They allow us to carry complex, highly detailed designs from concept into reality with precision—ensuring that what is envisioned is fully realized.
