Daily Inspiration: Meet Stephanie Riel

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Riel.

Hi Stephanie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started my career over 17 years ago in the marketing and business world, building brands, scaling businesses, and eventually running a multiple six-figure marketing agency. From the outside, my life looked incredibly successful with awards, recognition, a thriving business, and travel, but internally, I was deeply disconnected from myself and my body.

Around 2018, I began my own healing and embodiment journey after realizing that achievement alone wasn’t creating fulfillment, safety, or alignment in my life. That path led me into somatics, nervous system work, yoga, sound healing, parts work, meditation, and deeper spiritual and intuitive practices. What started as personal healing evolved into a complete transformation in how I approached leadership, business, relationships, and life itself.

Over the years, I began integrating my background in strategy and entrepreneurship with embodied healing modalities. Today, my work blends somatics, nervous system regulation, movement, sound, intuition, energy interpretation, Human Design, astrology, and business mentorship to support founders, creatives, executives, and conscious leaders all across the globe in building lives and businesses that feel as good as they look.

I facilitate private mentorships, corporate wellness experiences, retreats, workshops, and group programs, while also continuing to evolve through my own studies and experiences around the world.

At the core of my work is the belief that sustainable success is not created through constant force or disconnection from self. I believe real transformation happens when we reconnect to the body, honor our nervous systems, and create from a place of authenticity, safety, and alignment. My work now lives at the intersection of strategy, body and soul — helping people expand their capacity, reconnect to themselves, and lead from a more embodied place.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all! Like many entrepreneurs and people on a healing path, my journey has involved a lot of unlearning, rebuilding, and learning to trust myself in deeper ways.

For a long time, I operated from achievement, over-functioning, and pushing through. I built a successful business and accomplished many things externally, but underneath that was burnout, nervous system dysregulation, disconnection from my body, and a version of success that wasn’t fully aligned with who I truly was.

One of the biggest challenges was realizing that the strategies and identities that once helped me succeed were also the very things keeping me disconnected from my authentic self. Walking away from old versions of my life, relationships, business structures, and ways of operating required a tremendous amount of courage and self-trust.

I’ve also experienced challenges in evolving professionally. Transitioning from a more traditional marketing and business background into work that integrates somatics, intuition, energy work, and embodied leadership required me to trust my own vision, even before others fully understood it. I had to become comfortable being seen in a more authentic and vulnerable way.

Personally, I’ve also navigated seasons of deep healing, grief, reinvention, and uncertainty, including over two years of nomadic travel and stepping away from environments that no longer felt aligned, so I could rebuild my life in ways that felt more true to me.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Today, my work sits at the intersection of strategy, body and soul. I specialize in helping founders, creatives, executives, and conscious leaders reconnect to themselves through somatic work, nervous system support, embodiment practices, intuitive guidance, and strategic mentorship.

My background is unique because I spent over 17 years building brands and businesses in the marketing and entrepreneurial world before stepping fully into this work. That experience allows me to bridge both worlds. I integrate somatics, nervous system regulation, movement, sound healing, parts work, meditation, Human Design, astrology, and intuitive insight into my work with clients, helping them build lives and businesses that feel aligned and authentic.

My work helps my clients increase their capacity, reconnect to their bodies, trust themselves, and release the patterns that keep them stuck in over-functioning, burnout, or disconnection.

In addition to private mentorship, I facilitate workshops, retreats, corporate wellness experiences, sound healing sessions, and group events all across the United States.

What I’m most proud of is the way I’ve allowed myself to evolve authentically — both personally and professionally — even when it meant walking away from things that once looked successful from the outside. I’m proud that my work is rooted not only in education and training, but also in lived experience.

How do you think about luck?
I believe intuition and self-trust have played a far greater role in my life and business than luck alone.

Some of the biggest turning points in my journey came from listening to an inner knowing — even when it didn’t make logical sense at the time or when there was no clear roadmap in front of me. There were moments where I felt called to pivot professionally, walk away from environments or opportunities that no longer felt aligned, travel, rebuild, or completely reinvent parts of my life and work. Those decisions required a deep level of trust in myself.

Of course, there have been supportive opportunities, meaningful relationships, and moments of beautiful timing that I’m incredibly grateful for. And I believe what many people perceive as “luck” is often the result of living in our authenticity, the highest frequency that allows the universe to match our frequency with the magic of our highest timeline. Part of this magic in my opinion is being willing to trust yourself enough to take aligned action before you have certainty.
