Hidden Gems: Meet Daniella Ortez of PlantScape Miami

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniella Ortez.

Daniella, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started Plantscape Miami as a natural evolution of my background in project management and my passion for design. I’ve always loved transforming spaces, but I realized what truly inspired me was creating environments that feel elevated and alive.

I studied landscape design, which gave me the foundation to approach every project with both creativity and intention. Living in Miami, I was especially drawn to the connection between indoor and outdoor living, and how greenery can completely shift the energy of a space.

What began as helping clients style their homes with plants quickly grew into a design focused business. Today, I work across residential, real estate, and events, creating spaces that feel refined, effortless, and deeply connected to nature.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t always been smooth; balancing the creative side with the business side was a big learning curve. Figuring out logistics, client expectations, and valuing my work took time. But each challenge helped me build a process that lets creativity shine while keeping the business running smoothly, shaping Plantscape Miami into what it is today.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
At Plantscape Miami, we bring spaces to life through plant styling and landscape design. We specialize in residential patios, real estate staging, and events, creating environments that feel intentional, luxurious, and alive.

What sets us apart is our focus on design, detail, and seamless execution. I’m proud to have built a brand that transforms greenery into experiences, making every space feel elevated, inviting, and unforgettable.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Plants have the power to transform not just spaces, but how we feel in them. When designed intentionally, they help you stay connected to your vision, bring clarity, and create environments that inspire calm, creativity, and joy.
