Life & Work with Dante Cerruti of Fort Lauderdale Beach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dante Cerruti.

Hi Dante, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Almost a decade ago, I started creating drink videos just for fun. At the time, I had no idea it would turn into a career. Everything really shifted when I began collaborating with Tipsy Bartender — that’s when my content started reaching a much wider audience and my following began to grow.

Over the years, I’ve created dozens of viral drink videos that have reached millions of views. My Instagram, @letsturnup, built a reputation around high-energy, creative alcohol content, and people started recognizing me as “the turn up guy.” That momentum gave me the confidence to think bigger.

Eventually, I made the decision to leave Maryland and move to Florida to fully commit to the lifestyle and industry I had been building through content. I wanted to be immersed in the hospitality scene — not just behind a screen, but in real life.

Once I got to South Florida, my content evolved. I began creating skits, foodie features, and showcasing restaurants, bars, and major events across the region. The energy here is unmatched, and being able to highlight local businesses while connecting with so many incredible people has been one of the most rewarding parts of the journey.

At this point, creating content feels completely natural to me. It’s not just something I do — it’s who I am. What started as simple drink videos has grown into a platform that blends entertainment, hospitality, and community. And I’m just getting started.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey hasn’t been easy. Right before moving to Florida, I was hospitalized twice due to an inflamed esophagus, while also dealing with financial struggles. It was a challenging season physically and mentally, especially as I was preparing to start over in a new state.

But instead of letting it stop me, I used it as motivation. I focused on improving my health, staying disciplined, and continuing to build my brand. That period taught me resilience and reinforced how serious I was about creating a better future for myself.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am known for doing crazy drink videos like one I did was a viral titos video with koolaid, got 30 million views on all platforms. I do skits and foodie videos which are fun.

Any big plans?
Future plans are still a mystery but I do plan to start streaming soon
