Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Saint-Come.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I grew up regularly auditioning for magnet programs. I was heavily involved in Musical Theatre, Singing Competitions, and shows for my high school. I quickly realized I needed to pick a career. I went to college for Hospitality at FIU. While attending I had work in the field to get hours. So started working at an upscale boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Miami. I learned so much and I met so many household names. It quickly woke me up. I began singing with a band on south beach with Pokito and other well known local musicians singing reggae covers. After a little break from school I quit working at the hotel and never looked back. I recorded a soca track in Trinidad with Dary Braxton, Shamba, and Arif Ali. When I came back to the states I enrolled into SEDT’s fit program and it changed how I moved. I became my own creative director. I created so many professional ties that I still keep in touch with today. I know own SAINTCOME PRODUCTIONS, LLC which I am most proud of.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Once I was in the right environment, everything went smoothly. Getting the right advice was crucial to my success. If you find yourself thinking everything is hard, your energy low, and dreaming instead of doing . I highly recommend taking a second look at the people around you. Once you take that action, you will feel more confident to take other actions to make your dreams a reality.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I specialize in Afro- Caribbean fusion music, creating work that focuses on global unity.. I’m best known for Pressure 2 with Charly Black who is also well known in the Caribbean and Latin space. What I’m most proud of is that song charted #10 in Italy’s reggae charts when we first released, because it proved that music really brings us all together. What sets me apart is as a Fusion artist I am not confined to one language or one sound. I create to build a bridge.
What does success mean to you?
For me, success is the ability to look back at my body of work and see a clear story of growth. It’s having the creative freedom to experiment with new rhythms and push my boundaries, while remaining firmly grounded in the signature sound that started my journey. It’s not just about reaching a destination; it’s about the integrity of the evolution.
