Rising Stars: Meet Brian Joseph of Miami

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Joseph.

Brian Joseph

Hi Brian , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is Brian Georges Joseph, and I am 25 years old. I was born in Florida, USA, but raised within the vibrant culture of Haiti—a background that deeply shaped my creativity, work ethic, and perspective. From a young age, I was immersed in art and storytelling through my mother, who owned a thriving photography company. I spent countless hours in her office watching clients come and go, playing around the printing machines, and unknowingly absorbing the power of visual storytelling. Little did I know at the time, that spark of curiosity would ignite the ambition that drives me today.

Over the past six years, I’ve built my experience and skill through numerous opportunities, events, and collaborations, allowing me to refine my creative and strategic approach to content and branding. Today, I proudly serve as the Social Media & Content Manager at JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa, a role I worked diligently to earn. I see this position as an incredible opportunity to bring my talents to the JW Marriott table and contribute to the continued growth of a thriving brand and industry.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Early on, I struggled with feeling intimidated by the work of other photographers and videographers I saw in the social media space. Instead of letting that insecurity hold me back, I chose to flip it into fuel. I began using that feeling as inspiration—studying, learning, and pushing myself to grow creatively and technically.

That shift in mindset helped shape my purpose. I love creating and directing because I want my work to inspire others the same way I was inspired. My goal is for people to feel something when they see my work—something that motivates them to chase their own goals, believe in their vision, and keep going no matter the obstacles.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I currently work as the Social Media & Content Manager at JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa, where I specialize in creating high-quality, cinematic, and engaging content that elevates the brand and brings the full hotel experience to life. I truly throw myself into my work—I don’t believe in leaving a shoot until I’ve captured everything I need. Once I have all the pieces of the vision, the rest becomes about placing them together with intention and creativity.

Editing is a major part of what I do, and it’s one of my favorite aspects of the process. That’s where the fun, creativity, and storytelling really come together, and it’s what makes my content stand out. I’m most proud of the excitement I feel before every shoot—sometimes even a little nervous, as if it’s my first time—but no matter what, I don’t stop until the job is done.

Shooting at JW Marriott Turnberry is especially exciting because the entire resort feels like my playground and my canvas. I get to explore endless creative possibilities across the property, using every resource and piece of equipment available. I’m a big nerd when it comes to camera gear, but more than anything, being behind the camera gives me a sense of peace. In that moment, I feel capable of anything—the resort becomes my canvas, the camera my brush. Videography is art, and I take great pride in creating meaningful, impactful content for JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
As a Social Media Manager, I collaborate with a wide range of creatives—from assistants and models to photographers, videographers, influencers, and content creators. I truly see every collaboration as an opportunity, not just to create great content, but to learn. Working alongside other creative minds allows me to be exposed to new talents, skills, and perspectives, which continually helps me grow and evolve in my craft.

I strongly encourage being open-minded when it comes to collaboration. In the content creation industry, there are countless ways to shoot, edit, direct, and tell stories, and I believe it’s important not to limit yourself to a single mindset. I approach every collaboration like a sponge—absorbing what I can, applying what resonates, and pushing my work further as a result.

Through my role at the resort, I also have the opportunity to work closely with influencers and content creators, and my goal is always to elevate every project we bring to life. I aim to make each collaboration more than just a photoshoot—it’s an experience rooted in creativity, connection, and shared vision.
