Rising Stars: Meet Adriana Hummel of Fort Lauderdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adriana Hummel.

Hi Adriana, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story really begins with becoming a mother and learning how much your identity can evolve in that season. I’ve always loved fashion, travel, wellness, and creating, but motherhood forced me to get more intentional about how I showed up for myself and my family. Sweet Peas was born during that transition, starting with something small and personal, creating soft turbans for my daughter when I couldn’t find stylish, gentle options. What started as a creative outlet quickly turned into a business and opened doors I never imagined.

As Sweet Peas grew, so did I. Building a brand while raising kids taught me discipline, resilience, and how to trust my instincts. Over time, I realized that my journey wasn’t just about products, it was about showing women that you don’t have to lose yourself in motherhood. You can build something meaningful, take care of your health, express yourself through fashion, travel the world, and still be present for your family.

Today, my personal brand reflects that balance. I share real life, business, motherhood, wellness, and the pursuit of growth, because I want other women to feel inspired to create a life that feels full, aligned, and true to who they are, at every stage.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One of the biggest struggles has been learning how to balance ambition with presence. There were moments where I felt pulled in every direction; wanting to grow, create, and evolve, while also being fully present as a mother and as myself. Learning that I didn’t have to choose one or the other, but instead redefine success on my own terms, has been one of the most challenging and transformative parts of the journey.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My work sits at the intersection of motherhood, lifestyle, and entrepreneurship. I create and share content rooted in real life; building a business, raising a family, prioritizing health, and still making room for fashion, travel, and personal growth. I’m known for blending aspirational moments with honesty, showing that you can live fully in different seasons without losing yourself along the way.

What I’m most proud of is building a brand and a personal platform that feel authentic and intentional. Whether through Sweet Peas or my personal brand, everything I create is grounded in purpose and connection. I focus on storytelling that resonates especially with women who are navigating similar paths and want to feel seen, inspired, and encouraged.

What sets me apart is my ability to make ambition feel relatable. I don’t believe in perfection or extremes. I believe in balance, evolution, and creating a life that feels aligned, not performative. That philosophy guides everything I do and is what continues to connect me with my audience.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I believe luck plays a role, but it’s rarely the full story. I’ve experienced moments that felt like good luck; opportunities appearing at the right time, doors opening unexpectedly but those moments were always met with preparation, consistency, and action. On the flip side, challenges and setbacks have shaped me just as much, even when they felt unfair or discouraging at the time.

What I’ve learned is that what looks like “luck” from the outside is often the result of showing up, staying disciplined, and trusting your instincts even when the path isn’t clear. I don’t rely on luck, I rely on intention, resilience, and faith that things align when you keep moving forward.
