Today we’d like to introduce you to Leandra Lean & Alexandra Esplugas.
Hi Leandra & Alexandra, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
After over 15 years in the mortgage industry working for other companies, Leandra realized that none of the companies she had worked for up til then had the same community mindset or desire to improve the quality of life for people, by helping them obtain their home. Which is when in 2021, alongside her daughter, Alexandra Esplugas they founded Mint4More Financial Servicves INC where core values and work culture of the company are all about pouring into their team and helping them reach their ultimate potential as well as using proceeds made from the company to help the community through different initiatives.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Since opening during COVID, we have seen many market and social changes. We had to adapt, learn, and incorporate new ways to offer the same services in different forms of communication. We incorporated a diverse portfolio of lenders offering a variety of loan products for different scenarios. We went from the COVID refinance boom to a market that was harder to navigate through. During this time, we had to stay afloat while caring for family members and still finding ways to serve our community.
We’ve been impressed with Mint4More Financial Services INC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our job as mortgage brokers is to find the best program/loan option for our client’s present and future needs. We work wholesale with different lenders that offer diverse loan products, allowing us to offer competitive rates to our clients compared to lenders and banks. Brand wise we are most proud of the relationships we have created throughout all these years with our borrowers, industry partners, and team. This is not only a job for us, it is giving back what was once given to us
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Every client for us represents a family that we can support to achieve homeownership. These families become our families, for which we fight to get them prepared, encouraged and across the finish line.
