I’m Leo Martz, founder and CEO of MiamiPhotoshootBooking.com LLC.
I grew up in a small town in Maryland, where opportunities in creative entrepreneurship felt limited. From an early age, I knew I wanted to build something meaningful through art, creativity, and service. That desire pushed me to look beyond what was familiar and search for an environment where collaboration, growth, and ambition were encouraged.
That search led me to Miami.
Miami introduced me to a culture built on connection, creativity, and mutual support. I met entrepreneurs, creators, and professionals who believed in sharing knowledge, opening doors, and helping one another grow. That experience shaped my perspective and clarified my purpose.
I began to notice a consistent gap: professional photography—something essential for branding, storytelling, and preserving meaningful moments—was often inaccessible due to cost, complexity, or lack of availability. Young entrepreneurs needed quality content to grow. Creators needed visibility. Families, couples, and visitors wanted to capture important moments without unnecessary barriers.
I founded MiamiPhotoshootBooking.com to solve that problem.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the biggest challenges was building and training a reliable team. As demand grew, I needed photographers who not only had technical skills but also understood our standards, client experience, and mission.
To solve this, I built a photography school and internal training system to develop talent from the ground up. Training photographers to deliver consistent quality, professionalism, and service took time, patience, and hands-on leadership.
That challenge ultimately became a strength—allowing us to scale while maintaining quality, trust, and a strong creative culture.

For anyone just starting out, my biggest advice is to focus on building a strong foundation—your skills, your team, and your systems—before chasing growth. Surround yourself with people who inspire you, challenge you, and support your vision.
I also wish I knew earlier how important training and consistency are. It’s easy to rely on talent alone, but having processes, standards, and a well-trained team makes all the difference in delivering quality and building trust.
Finally, don’t be afraid to start small and learn as you go. Every challenge is an opportunity to grow, and the connections you make along the way will shape both your business and your journey.
