Today we’d like to introduce you to Alex Levi.
Hi Alex, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I grow up in Bordeaux France, where I went to culinary school. Working in the hospitality industry gave me the opportunity to travel while learning different cooking culture.
I have been in Florida for about 8 years, and enjoy very much working with local, exotic product, as well as cooking traditional European cuisine.
With many of experience , my background includes extensive experience in fine dining establishment. Like many of us, the Covid years were a time to rethink the restaurant industry. The idea of doing private dinner came during a small get together, as some friends were enjoying a quiet dinner in our backyard,
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been overall pretty smooth experience to build this Private Chef business.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I assist with gathering or private events. From party of 2 to party of 15 , I bring the restaurant experience at home, either for a fine dining or casual experience.
Avoiding traffic, finding parking space, loud music, dark restaurant…. whatever make people dragging the idea to go eat out.
The menu is designed in collaboration with the host. We do propose different types of menus with assorted cuisine. Ultimately, the host is the one who has the final say on the set menu.
I accommodate food restriction/ preference as much as possible.
I also provide daily meals service.
Man people don’t have the time or the desire to cook every day. It gives families the opportunity to diversify their routine meals, or eat heathier.

Just keep on cooking.
