Today we’d like to introduce you to Cliff Wagner.
Hi Cliff, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started my career as a very young child. It’s a long story but a French woman by the name of Florette sparked my interest at 6 years old. I visited her at her home, which was her shop as well, my whole childhood. She taught me everything about greenhouse management, growing plants and floral arranging. What she really gave me was a love for growing and designing God’s most beautiful creations.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
After going to a vocational education program at 16 it was hard finding a position that would hire me straight out of school. Most shops wanted someone with years on the job experience. I had the experience but wasn’t paid while I learned it. So, for many years I worked in dry cleaning. That changed when I move to Florida after a doctor told me the drycleaning fluid was killing my lungs.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
My staff and I pride ourselves on bringing to life what each and every one of our customers have in mind. Whether it be for flowers for someone’s birthday or an elaborate event for their weddings. We like making dreams come true and at an affordable cost.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Customer satisfaction and knowing we made someone’s day brighter.
