Hi Tom, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I decided to make the best bottle ever in 2008 because I couldn’t find a reusable, eco-friendly, practical bottle that suited my daily needs. My eureka moment was in Paris when I saw aluminum bottles that sprayed misted water but did nothing else. I loved it, but the bottles were expensive and not eco-friendly. So, I assembled a team with the best designers, engineers, scientists, and manufacturers to develop the best sports water bottle.
In the U.S. alone, people throw away 2.5 million plastic water bottles an hour. The average cost of one water bottle is $1.45. Each American buys, on average, 222 water bottles per year. That means Americans spend over $300 per person yearly on bottled water. That’s not efficient, and it’s not good for our environment.
After 3 years of development, I created, patented, and now manufacture an All-In-One sports water bottle that is eco-friendly, food-grade, durable, and inexpensive.
We live a very active lifestyle and use our bottles at the gym and office, in the car, outdoors, at the beach, and on airplanes. We take it everywhere. We need to stay hydrated.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I produced steel molds in China and initiated manufacturing there; however, the quality control process proved challenging overseas. Therefore, I shipped the steel molds to the USA, where we now manufacture and ship from our warehouse in FL. The Chinese factory was not happy about that, so they overcharged me for the steel molds.

We are a family business in Miami Beach, FL, and we are competing with large companies that make KleanKanteen, Hydroflask, Thermoflask, Camelbak, and Yeti. They make the same high-quality insulated stainless-steel 18/8 304 bottles as we do, but we have our unique patented caps and sell our bottles for the lowest price on the market.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Every Body needs to drink water, and that will never change. The reusable bottle market is growing every year because people want to stay healthy, and now they have many options for excellent bottles. Stainless steel bottles are still the best quality reusable bottles.
