Today we’d like to introduce you to Yimeidy Gonzalez.
Hi Yimeidy, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my journey from a place of curiosity, resilience, and a deep desire to create something meaningful. My professional background is in geophysical engineering, a field that taught me how to think analytically, design systems, and solve complex problems. Over time, however, I realized I wanted a life and a business that felt more aligned with who I truly am.
That desire led me to start my own company, Cleaning Kingdom. What began as a hands-on service evolved into a structured, high-end cleaning business focused on care, consistency, and trust. I applied my engineering mindset to create personalized cleaning systems, clear processes, and reliable standards, ensuring that every property is treated with attention to detail and respect.
As the company grew, I expanded into commercial cleaning and post-construction cleaning. Commercial cleaning became one of our most developed areas, and today I work with around ten commercial brands, building long-term relationships based on reliability, communication, and quality. This expansion marked a turning point, allowing the business to scale while maintaining the same level of care and professionalism.
Through this process, I also grew personally. Building Cleaning Kingdom gave me financial independence, clarity, and the confidence to expand beyond one path. At the same time, I’ve been developing personal projects centered around self-awareness, balance, and emotional intelligence, merging entrepreneurship with inner growth.
Today, I see my story as a bridge between structure and intuition, logic and emotion, business and purpose. I’m still evolving, but everything I do now is rooted in alignment, intention, and the belief that we can build successful lives without losing ourselves in the process.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, and that’s been one of the most defining parts of my journey. One of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made was stepping away from a career I had built as a geophysical engineer, both in Venezuela and in the United States. I had invested years of study, effort, and identity into that path, and letting it go meant facing fear, uncertainty, and the question of who I was without that title.
Leaving my corporate job in Houston to move to Fort Lauderdale was a major leap of faith. On paper, it didn’t make sense. I was walking away from stability to build a life and a business from the ground up, trusting an inner knowing more than logic. There were moments of doubt, financial pressure, and emotional exhaustion, especially in the early stages, when I was doing everything myself and proving—to others and to myself—that this new path was valid.
Another challenge was redefining success. I had to unlearn the idea that achievement only comes through traditional careers and allow myself to build something unconventional yet deeply fulfilling. Learning to trust my intuition while still applying discipline and structure was a balancing act.
Looking back, those struggles were necessary. They strengthened my resilience, clarified my values, and helped me build not just a business, but a life that truly reflects who I am. Every challenge pushed me closer to alignment, and today I see that the hardest choices were also the most transformative.
As you know, we’re big fans of Cleaning Kingdom. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My business, Cleaning Kingdom, is a high-end cleaning company built on care, structure, and trust. We provide residential, commercial, short-term rental, and post-construction cleaning services, with a strong emphasis on consistency, communication, and property care. While cleaning is the service we provide, what we truly offer is peace of mind.
We specialize in creating customized cleaning systems for each client. Thanks to my background as a geophysical engineer, I approach the business with a systems-driven mindset, designing clear processes, detailed checklists, and quality control standards that ensure reliable and repeatable results. This allows us to maintain excellence even as we scale.
One of our most developed areas is commercial cleaning. Today, we work with around ten commercial brands, building long-term partnerships based on reliability, transparency, and attention to detail. We are also highly experienced in post-construction cleaning, where precision, organization, and deep care are essential.
What sets Cleaning Kingdom apart is our approach. We treat every property as if it were our own. We document our work with before-and-after photos, provide maintenance and supply reports when needed, and communicate clearly so clients always know the condition of their space. We see ourselves as the eyes of our clients when they are not there.
Brand-wise, what I am most proud of is that Cleaning Kingdom was built with intention and integrity. We focus on quality over volume, respectful work environments, and creating a service that feels professional, elevated, and human. Our tagline, “Where Cleanliness Meets Care,” truly defines how we operate.
What I want readers to know is that Cleaning Kingdom represents a new standard in the cleaning industry. It’s about professionalism, systems, and heart working together. We believe clean spaces support clarity, productivity, and well-being, and we are committed to delivering that experience every single time.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
My advice for anyone just starting out is to trust yourself sooner than you think you’re ready. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. Clarity comes from action, not from waiting for the perfect moment.
One thing I wish I had known earlier is that consistency matters more than perfection. Showing up, doing the work well, and building trust day by day creates far more impact than trying to get everything right from the start. I also learned that your background is never wasted. Even if you change paths, every skill you’ve developed can be repurposed in powerful ways.
Another important lesson is to build systems early. Clear processes, boundaries, and standards protect your energy and allow your business to grow without burning you out. And just as important, redefine success on your own terms. Don’t measure your journey against someone else’s timeline.
Lastly, remember that fear doesn’t mean you’re on the wrong path—it often means you’re growing. If you lead with integrity, intention, and patience, the results will come. The journey is just as important as the destination.
