Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Isabella Schmidt of Fort Lauderdale

Isabella Schmidt shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Good morning Isabella, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day are the most important of the day. This sets the tone and gets me ready for what the day has to hold. For me, I typically start most days by taking my dog on a long walk. The most important aspect of this, besides the special time with my pup, is I put my phone away and just enjoy the outdoors and try to start the day with a clear mind. As we all know the day can get crazy very quickly so this is an easy way for me to be present and enjoy the current moment to myself.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Isabella Schmidt, however most people call me Bella. I am mostly known on social media as the girl with the golden attached to her hip lol. In addition to my handsome boy, I co-own & co-founded a talent agency, Jexy, where we manage social media creators within all niches. I also co-founded FTL Dog Moms, where we focus on bringing our local dog mom community together for monthly events and giveaways.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
This past year has been the biggest growth I have seen within myself in a long time. I believe I am starting to truly come into the person I want to be and shape my future. One of the biggest learnings I am ending this year with is that I don’t have to be work 24/7. I am a hustler at heart so it is very hard to pull me away from my work and as you can probably see I am always picking up new projects. However, I have learned that as I get older it is just as important to not only have a strong work ethic but also have a strong bond in shaping a family. With that being said, I am going into 2026 with the mindset that I can be an independent working woman while also be searching for my person and starting the path towards a family and it is okay to prioritize that. As they say, success is nothing if you don’t have someone to share it with. While I have more than enjoyed my time to myself, I am now ready to release some of that independence to sharing a life with someone.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
With all of the time and effort I have put into what I do I don’t think I would have given up but I will say this year has been a very big growth and learning year for us. We have faced many obstacles but have overcome them and are going into 2026 better than ever because of them. Good things don’t come easy, there will always be challenges, it is how you face them that matters!

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My relationships. We are the product of who we choose to surround ourselves with so it speaks to your character as a person. I also truly believe I would not be where I am today without my family and closest friends. They are my rock and everything to me at the end of the day.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. When do you feel most at peace?
When I am being present in a moment. We spend so much of our lives filming and editing content to post on social media that we forget to put the phone down and enjoy the moment. This is something I have tried intentionally to really start doing and it truly makes you appreciate the small things in life that much more.
