Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Nilbrink.
Hi Victoria, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My name is Victoria Nilbrink. I’m a creative director, visual storyteller, and founder of Vici Studio—an award-winning creative agency shaping brands and businesses worldwide through intentional, timeless, and results-driven design.
I’ve always been a deeply curious and creative soul, though I never imagined I’d one day be creative directing for leading brands in hospitality, entertainment, and more. I was born in Miami and moved to Sweden at the age of two, growing up between cultures—was an experience that shaped how I see the world and connect with people through storytelling.
My journey into design began unexpectedly in college, when I accepted an unpaid graphic design internship—despite graduating with a degree in communications and public relations. It didn’t “make sense” on paper, but it sparked something in me. I fell in love with design almost immediately.
Quickly it turned into my passion. From helping friends and family with logos and websites—to creating a brand and profitable business from doing what I love! I never planned on this, but life seems to go that way. And I’m grateful that it did. I wanted to be a writer that’s why I studied journalism. Through design and visual storytelling, I found a way to use my voice and talents in a creative way. It felt right.
I launched my business to help entrepreneurs, and brands find their voice and bring their vision to life through thoughtful, authentic branding.
For me, creativity isn’t just a profession—it’s who I am. Authenticity and passion fuel everything I do, and stepping outside my comfort zone is what brought me here.
I believe successful branding goes far beyond aesthetics. It’s about creating concepts that feel relatable, inspiring, and deeply human. My approach is immersive and personal—I step into my clients’ world to understand their vision, audience, and competitive landscape. The result is a brand presence that feels effortless, intentional, and unforgettable.
I’ll never stop pushing creative boundaries, evolving, and using visual storytelling and compelling content as a way to connect people, ideas, and brands with purpose.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Creativity has never been a smooth road. There are days when ideas flow effortlessly, and then there are months when I hit a creative wall.
One of my biggest challenges has been comparison. When I pay too much attention to what others are doing, it pulls me into overthinking and ultimately self-sabotage.
I’ve learned that my “best” come naturally—when I’m not seeking inspiration. The ones that flow effortlessly, without forcing it or expecting anything. That work feels organic and is often recognized the most because it’s 100% authentic. It’s created from the heart, guided by intuition, and rooted in staying true to myself.
Not everyone will love what you create—and that’s okay. What matters is continuing to show up and show your work, even when you’re unsure or imperfect. There’s value in contributing your creativity to the world. Sometimes, a single piece of work can change everything. And honestly—what do you have to lose?
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As a Creative Director and founder of Vici Studio, I specialize in branding, art direction, digital experiences, web, product, and print design. I founded my studio on the belief that creativity has the power to transform how people see themselves—and what they believe they’re capable of building.
What began as a passion and side-hobby evolved into a purpose-driven business rooted in empowering other entrepreneurs to help bring their vision to life.
I understand the courage it takes to build something from nothing. My “why” is grounded in guiding other creatives from uncertainty to confidence, from raw ideas to iconic brands by using visual storytelling as the bridge between vision and building lasting connections.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
I genuinely love connecting with and supporting other creatives. I’m always open to collaborations and conversations that feel aligned. Supporting my work can be as simple as sharing it, engaging with it, or making thoughtful introductions—those things really matter.
