Hi Brando, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Our story began as a family dream rooted in Italian tradition. In 2009, my parents immigrated to the United States from Italy with their two children, driven by a passion for authentic gelato and the desire to build something of our own. With limited resources, language barriers, and a lot of determination, they opened our first gelato shop and committed to doing things the right way—using traditional methods, high-quality ingredients, and recipes passed down through generations.
Over the years, the business grew through hard work, consistency, and the support of our community. What started as a small family shop evolved into a recognized brand, expanding into catering, events, and collaborations while staying true to our roots. Today, the next generation proudly continues the legacy, honoring our family’s history while bringing fresh ideas and experiences to the table. Our journey has always been about family, craftsmanship, and sharing moments of joy—one scoop at a time, made with amore.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has not always been smooth. Like many immigrant- and family-owned businesses, we faced language barriers, limited resources, and the challenge of building trust in a new community while learning to navigate an entirely new business environment. The first six years were especially challenging, both of our parents worked every single day, often 16-hour shifts, doing everything themselves to keep the business alive.
As the business grew, new challenges emerged, including scaling operations, maintaining consistency, adapting to market changes, and balancing growth while staying true to our values and quality standards. Through perseverance, adaptability, and a strong family foundation, we learned to turn obstacles into opportunities. Every challenge strengthened our resilience and reinforced why we do what we do.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Our work blends artistry, tradition, and experience. We specialize in authentic Italian gelato and elevated dessert experiences, handcrafted using traditional techniques, premium ingredients sourced from Italy, and original recipes rooted in our family’s heritage. Today, we operate two retail locations in Pembroke Pines, offer wholesale distribution throughout Florida, and provide full-service catering for private and large-scale events.
We are known for creating memorable dessert experiences that go beyond the scoop, from curated flavors to live dessert concepts and thoughtfully designed setups. What sets us apart is our hands-on, family-driven approach, uncompromising commitment to quality, and attention to detail. Everything we create is made from scratch, intentionally crafted, deeply rooted in tradition, and made with amore.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Over the next 5–10 years, we see the dessert industry continuing to move toward authenticity, premium ingredients, and experience-driven concepts. Consumers are becoming more intentional, valuing transparency, craftsmanship, and brands with a genuine story behind them.
For our business, this growth aligns with our vision to expand into additional retail locations while continuing to strengthen our wholesale and catering presence. We believe the future belongs to brands that can scale without compromising quality, staying rooted in tradition, creating memorable experiences, and maintaining a hands-on approach. Our goal is to grow thoughtfully while preserving what defines us: quality, authenticity, and everything made with amore.
