Chazzy, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
What’s the most misunderstood is people thinking my job is easy. People will think it’s as simple as picking up a camera, and pressing the record button. They will realize it’s not actually that easy after all once they find out you have to play around with the camera settings, story tell/find matching locations, and then edit and tweak the final product.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a videographer and photographer. What makes me unique is that I shoot all types of videos/photos. No matter the circumstance, I have you covered! Their was never a time that we couldn’t finish a clients expectation with our work. Weather it’s a wedding or a music video, Chazzy Productions will always strive to give you the best video/photos possible for your occasion!
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who taught you the most about work?
This might be a funny answer, but myself! I have been editing videos for fun ever since I was a kid. I’m a self taught videographer which is hard to come by these days. Even when I got to college at Florida Atlantic University, I already knew everything they were trying to teach me when it came to camera settings and editing on the computer.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Make sure to accomplish a small set of goals everyday. This will add up to fulfilling your big dream way faster then you think!
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
At the moment I’m committed to getting 10,000 subscribers on YouTube. I know this will be easy for me. I have a whole plan on how I’m going to do this. It will definitely take long but once I release all the content I have stored in the vault, the new subcribers and fans will come in fast!
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What will you regret not doing?
One thing I will regret is not following my dreams sooner. I wasted some of my early years working a 9 to 5 and helping people build their business instead of my own. If I would of believed in myself more then all the time and energy I put into other jobs could have been put into Chazzy Productions.
