Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Heron Ra of Palm Beach Florida

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Heron Ra. Check out our conversation below.

Heron , so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
What makes me lose track of time is when I am playing with any of my kids. I’m reminded of how my concept of time is so different from theirs. We could be talking about something so random and I realize hours have went by. I find myself again through their laughter it plays a whimsical song in my mind showing me that I am a source of joy for them. Purpose, one of my purposes in this life is to be their father a source of positivity and light.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Randy Accius is a storyteller, entrepreneur, and cultural builder whose vision stretches across film, music, and fashion. Through his production company, RABA Studios, Randy is developing projects like QUENCH, Flip It, and 30 Deep—each rooted in authenticity and the voices of his community. As a musician, he continues to shape soundtracks that carry grit, soul, and real-life perspective.

Beyond the screen and the studio, Randy is preparing to launch his luxury streetwear brand, COS LVN—a line that blends faith, resilience, and modern street culture.

What sets Randy apart is his commitment to building more than content—he’s building culture. Every project is designed to inspire, uplift, and expand what’s possible when creativity and purpose meet.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the distractions of the world I’ve always been the kinda person that entertained others.

Making them laugh, singing a song or just being there for them.

A friend.

Now of days that word friend is commodity.

It’s hard to come by a genuine friend especially in the industry.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me that pain is necessary to teach you how you should live.

What will be your boundaries for the world and how will you align yourself based on that inevitable suffering.

If you can keep moving forward towards a goal while still knee deep in that suffering then you are one of the ones that deserve to reach others in a way no one else can.

Because success is a goal that is achieved due to a process executed efficiently.

While suffering is sometimes apart of the process.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends I don’t have any close friends.

The only person I am close with is my partner Selena Koon.

She would say what’s most important to me is family, respect and connections.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
Every choice you make shapes the reality you see.

Maybe some people do know this.

How many of us actually apply it?
