Hi Loyalty, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The idea of starting a business began when we moved in our first apartment in Miami. We both had a commission based jobs and when slow season hit, it hit hard. We started looking up ideas to start passive side hustles. The first idea was to start a car renting business but we figured that was too high risk for us at that time. We came across a video on social media talking about owning vending machines. We thought vending were only for big corporations, and can’t be owned by individuals.
Intrigued by that prospective, we took a leap of faith and purchased our very first combo vending machine (snack on top and drinks at the bottom) at the beginning of 2023. We placed it in a local salon where my mother worked at—our first real step into the world of entrepreneurship.
We kept learning, kept improving, and kept showing up even when it felt like we weren’t getting anywhere. And now, two years later, that persistence has paid off. We have officially expanded to over 13 accounts with 20 machines , and we’re only getting started.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey wasn’t easy. As time went on, we became more eager to grow, but growth didn’t come overnight. Cold calling, cold email, social media marketing , and walking into businesses with pitches that didn’t land started to drain our confidence. Our only machine was losing more money than it made, and for a moment, giving up seemed easier than pushing forward. But we’re not quitters
We’ve been impressed with Loyalty Vending, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Loyalty Vending is a vending service company where we install high quality vending machine in businesses in Dade and Broward county. We specialize in snack and drink vending machines carrying traditional and or healthy snacks and beverages. What set us apart is our friendly service, our charisma with our clients. We make sure our service is top notch to satisfy everyone. Our service is free of charge for the business owner/ manager so they don’t feel burden of having to come out of pocket to keep their customers, tenants, or staff happy.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
We like how other business owners are supportive and try to help when their interact with us. We have had a lot of positive feedbacks from people that understand what it’s like to start a business in the area. Traffic can be a pain when we have to drive around the city to services our machines, that’s the only thing we don’t like about the city.
