Meet Bayley Ramos of Ardor Consulting

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bayley Ramos.

Hi Bayley, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started my career in marketing over 15 years ago, long before strategy became a buzzword and social media became a business driver. What began as helping small local businesses quickly turned into consulting for national brands, restaurant groups, franchises, and international projects.

I built my reputation on one simple strength: listening. Clients came to me with real problems such as inconsistent sales, unclear messaging, disorganized marketing, or a lack of direction and I discovered I had a natural ability to diagnose the issue, create a plan, and execute it in a way that felt tailored, personal, and effective.

Over the years, I helped launch new locations, turn single restaurants into franchises, build marketing departments from the ground up, and guide law firms, wellness brands, and lifestyle companies through major growth phases. Eventually, that work led me to create Ardor Consulting, a full-service marketing agency grounded in strategy, purpose, and relationship-driven results.

Today, I serve as a Fractional CMO for businesses that need expert leadership without hiring full-time. My work centers around strategy, brand positioning, and helping teams build systems that actually move a business forward. What keeps me passionate after all these years is the same thing that got me started: being able to help people, solve problems, and create clarity for companies that are ready to grow.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road, but every challenge taught me something critical about running a business and leading with resilience. Like many entrepreneurs, COVID brought sudden shifts such as clients paused budgets, industries stalled overnight, and the uncertainty forced me to rethink how to support businesses that were struggling to survive. Then came the economic fluctuations, changing consumer behavior, and the constant evolution of digital marketing. Each season required adapting quickly, staying focused on strategy, and finding creative ways to help clients grow even when the market was unpredictable.

But despite the hurdles, it has genuinely been a great journey. The challenges strengthened my ability to problem-solve, lead teams, and build systems that could withstand change. More importantly, they reinforced why I love what I do: helping businesses navigate complex times and come out stronger.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Ardor Consulting is a marketing and strategy firm built on one core belief: businesses grow best with clarity, consistency, and a strong foundation. We specialize in Fractional CMO services and high-level marketing strategy for companies that want expert leadership without hiring a full-time executive. Our work spans hospitality, restaurant groups, law firms, wellness brands, franchises, and professional services that essentially any business that needs a strategic partner to guide their growth.

What we’re known for is our ability to combine big-picture strategy with hands-on execution. We don’t just create plans; we help businesses implement them. That means everything from brand positioning and messaging to digital marketing, content strategy, team structure, and multi-location expansion. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve had the privilege of helping companies go from single locations to multi-state brands, build marketing teams from scratch, and launch strong foundations that continue to scale year after year.

What sets Ardor apart is the personal approach. We listen deeply, understand the full business, and create strategies rooted in real goals, not trends. Clients often share that working with Ardor feels like adding a dedicated leader to their internal team, someone who genuinely cares about their success and treats their business like their own.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the transformations we’ve helped create: legacy brands revitalizing their presence, law firms building credibility and trust through consistent marketing, restaurants becoming franchises, and entrepreneurs finally feeling confident in the direction of their growth.

For readers, here’s what I want you to know: marketing does not have to feel overwhelming or chaotic. When your branding, messaging, and strategy align, everything becomes easier. You make better decisions, spend smarter, and show up with intention. Whether a business needs ongoing Fractional CMO support or a 90-day strategic blueprint they can execute in-house, our goal is the same, to give them a plan that actually moves the business forward.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Finding the right mentor or building a strong network doesn’t happen overnight, but it becomes much easier when you focus on genuine relationships instead of transactions or sales.

My advice is to stay curious, stay open, and be intentional leading with value. Don’t approach people ONLY when you need something, rather connect because you admire their work, you appreciate their perspective, or you believe you can learn from each other.

Networking is extremely important. You can network daily just by meeting new people. You must show up authentically by building relationships and looking for ways to help others. Connect with people whose mindset aligns with you, not just people who have impressive titles or who you think you can make money from. Some of the best relationships I’ve built happened in small, unexpected conversations, not formal events. And I’ve learned that people are far more generous with their time, expertise, and support when they feel respected and seen. I’ve hosted networking happy hours and networking events across Miami for over 10 years to create a space where people can connect in a non threatening environment. These gatherings are casual and authentic, not forced and absolutely NOT sales-y.

Above all, surrounding yourself with people who challenge you, encourage you, and help you stay aligned with your purpose. When you build relationships from that place, your network becomes one of your strongest assets.
