Story & Lesson Highlights with ALEXANDRE ESCOBAR of Miami

We’re looking forward to introducing you to ALEXANDRE ESCOBAR. Check out our conversation below.

ALEXANDRE, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Reconnecting with myself. Going to the beach, sometimes at specific times like sunset, exercising, and being around people who share the same energy. Reconnecting with myself is part of my creative process; I need to keep my mind balanced so that life and my projects can flow in a positive way, which ultimately reflects in the final result.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am an interior designer, and I currently focus on projects that are centered around custom millwork. Working in this niche brings me a lot of satisfaction because millwork can completely transform a space. Listening to and understanding the client’s needs makes all the difference, because as I always say, ‘I can create anything, but the home is not mine, it belongs to the client.’ I’m there to guide the process, harmonize their needs with functionality, and of course, create a beautiful and comfortable environment. It’s a lot of work, but it’s incredibly rewarding when I see the final result and the satisfaction of my clients.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
I believe life is made of small moments that together shape the way we think and see the world. Every day we’re constantly changing, learning, making mistakes, trying to become better people. Who I am today is the result of many different factors that help me see the world in a different way. What matters is understanding that life is a continuous transformation, and if we embrace it, someday we’ll look back and realize we walked a meaningful path filled with growth and valuable lessons.

When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
When I understood that letting go is healing. Hiding pain is like taking a poison that slowly intoxicates your body and eventually causes harm. When we practice accepting our pain, understanding it, and releasing it, we learn that pain is also part of who we are. We don’t have to appear happy all the time, even though society often expects that we just need to understand ourselves. That’s when we can live in peace with who we are, and as a result, life becomes different, lighter, and more abundant.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Quality of life, people with good energy, who are respectful and genuine.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: When do you feel most at peace?
When I’m meditating, when I’m reconnecting with myself, and when I’m balancing my feelings and thoughts.
