We recently had the chance to connect with Estrella Alvarado and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Estrella, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Beach meditations, trying new baking recipes, painting, and jazz dance classes.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Estrella Alvarado, the founder and CEO of 5th House Creative, a brand rooted in storytelling, artistry, and feminine leadership. I help six-figure female coaches and visionaries evolve from brand builders to industry icons through content that doesn’t just convert, but builds movements, wealth, and legacy.
What makes my work unique is that I merge creative direction with emotional intelligence and energetic alignment. I don’t just help women look elevated online, I help them embody the energy behind their brand. Everything we do at 5th House Creative is about creating content from truth, intention, and self-expression because real influence isn’t built from trends…it’s built from resonance.
My own journey has been one of transformation going from burnout and hustle to feminine leadership and creative freedom.I built 5th House Creative as a reflection of that shift, where intention, luxury, and purpose are at the forefront of everything we do. Right now, we’re expanding into VIP content experiences and coaching women who are ready to step fully into their legendary era while aligning their brand at the same time. Honestly, it’s the most exciting chapter yet!
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who taught you the most about work?
When it comes to work, I’ve had many mentors but my brother, Luis Alvarado, has definitely been one of my greatest teachers. He’s shown me what real discipline, resilience, and starting over look like. How to stay grounded in where we come from while being bold enough despite other people’s opinions, rejections, and limiting beliefs. He’s been both my number one cheerleader and my number one critic, and I’m so grateful for that.
He’s taught me so much about systems, structure, and how to optimize the creative side of business. But most importantly, he’s taught me to truly love what I do, to have passion, to go all in, and to trust that the right audience will connect deeply with what I’m offering. All of our experiences have helped me grow into the leader I am today in my work.
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
I don’t necessarily have a “date” but I began to notice BIG shifts in 2023, I started using my pain, my sadness, and all my insecurities as fuel. Learning to let go of old stories and loving my shadows and alchemizing them into purpose. I think anyone can do that. When you stop seeing yourself as a victim and start owning your story, you grow, you become confident, and you start speaking your truth instead of hiding behind a mask and shaming yourself.
For a long time, I used to do that… pretend to be someone who everyone liked. But now, I’m bold enough to want and create the life I actually deserve. The small realizations gave me my power back and it’s what fuels everything I create, how I lead, and how I connect with people. It’s a constant work of remembering who you are and why you are here on Earth.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
My biggest mission both personally and through my business is to keep serving. That’s something that’s always been in my heart. Before I stepped into entrepreneurship, I came from a nonprofit background, and I saw firsthand how many incredible leaders were struggling. They had the biggest hearts and were doing such important work, but they were burned out, underpaid, and barely surviving. I knew I didn’t want to live that way.
So for me, the commitment is to build something that serves others and sustains me…to show women that you can make an impact without sacrificing your wellbeing. One of my long-term dreams is to create schools in under-resourced communities where children can express themselves through creativity; whether that’s art, sports, or music because not every child learns the same way. I want to build spaces that nurture expression and their potential.
That’s what keeps me going…finding ways to combine purpose, creativity, and freedom. I’ve seen what happens when people lead from burnout, and I’m committed to showing that you can do good, build wealth, and create legacy without losing yourself in the process.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace in the ocean. Floating, weightless, just a small piece of stardust in this infinite world. There’s so much life to live, and even though our time here is limited, being fully present lets me feel it all. That’s peace to me.
