Today we’d like to introduce you to Mattia Casarotto.

Mattia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
EVOLV began with a simple idea: that films could transform spaces and vehicles in ways the industry hadn’t fully explored yet. We started as a small operation with a big vision, developing better materials, improving installer experience, and creating a brand that people could trust globally.

In the early days, we focused on automotive wraps. What set us apart was our approach: we worked closely with installers, listened to their challenges, and used that feedback to guide product development. Over time, this connection between innovation and real-world use helped us gain traction.

As demand grew, we expanded into PPF, architectural films, marine films, digital print materials, and eventually full interior renovation solutions. Each step of our growth has been guided by the same principle: deliver products that elevate style, simplify installation, and maintain exceptional quality.

Today, EVOLV operates with hubs in the United States and Europe, works with distributors worldwide, and continues to develop new technologies, such as dry-apply PPF, eco-friendly PVC-free films, exterior-grade architectural films, and advanced protective coatings.

We’ve grown from a small idea into a global brand, but our mindset remains the same: innovate constantly, evolve always, and inspire through design.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. Like most growing companies, we faced challenges, especially in the early stages.

Supply chain inconsistency, building brand trust in a crowded market, and developing new technologies all required time, patience, and a lot of problem-solving. Expanding internationally also brought logistical and regulatory obstacles, and we had to learn quickly how to scale without compromising quality.

Each challenge pushed us to improve our products, our processes, and our team. Those struggles ultimately shaped the company we are today.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
EVOLV is a global film company specializing in automotive PPF, color-change films, and architectural surface films for interiors and exteriors. We focus on innovation, premium quality, and products that installers genuinely enjoy working with.

What sets us apart is our commitment to developing new technologies, like our DRY-apply PPF and PVC-free architectural films, based on real installer feedback. We’re proud to offer a full ecosystem: films, software, aftercare products, and professional training.

We’re also honored to have just won Best PPF Manufacturer of the Year at the SEMA Show, a major milestone that confirms our direction and the quality of our work.

How do you define success?
To us, success means making a real impact, creating products that people love, that make their work easier, and that elevate the spaces and vehicles they touch. It’s earning trust, staying consistent, and knowing that our efforts genuinely help others.

But above all, success is building something meaningful that continues to evolve and inspire.
