Exploring Life & Business with Andre of Stay Tranquilo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andre.

Hi Andre, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Born and raised in Miami, I am a proud second- and third-generation Cuban American whose roots, family values, and hometown culture shaped the foundation of his life’s work. A graduate of Christopher Columbus High School, I grew up surrounded by the energy, resilience, and spirit of the Miami community — lessons passed down from my Cuban grandparents and the generations that fought to build a better life. That legacy of perseverance and gratitude has always driven me.

From a young age, I was wired to create. Entrepreneurial at heart, I always felt a pull to build something of my own — something meaningful, something positive, something that could make people’s lives better. That vision became Stay Tranquilo.

What started as a simple but powerful message — everything will be alright, breathe, live life to the fullest — evolved into a podcast designed to spotlight industry leaders, creators, and individuals with inspiring stories. The goal was never just content; it was perspective and purpose. I wanted to give people hope, to remind them that even through challenges, there is always a reason to stay grounded, grateful, and optimistic.

From that seed, Stay Tranquilo has grown into one of Miami’s fastest-rising multimedia platforms — a full network amplifying sports, culture, lifestyle, and the Latino experience. Today it has become widely recognized as the Latino and Miami version of Barstool, rooted in storytelling, authenticity, and community impact. What began as a one-mic operation is now a thriving media ecosystem showcasing Miami’s voice to the world.

Through it all, my mission has stayed the same: to build with purpose, to bring people together, and to create a brand that uplifts, inspires, and champions the cultures that raised him. Stay Tranquilo is more than a company — it is a movement born by Latinos, for Latinos, and for anyone who believes in living boldly, staying positive, and always finding a reason to smile.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Adversity has been a huge part of my journey. When my parents divorced at 18, I had to grow up fast — emotionally and financially. That period forced me to build resilience, find my own identity, and understand what really matters. Those experiences shaped the foundation of Stay Tranquilo. That moment of a life was a true shake up, but I am grateful for my growth as a person that came from that time in my life.

Starting a business, especially in the media space, came with its own challenges — uncertainty, pressure, constant reinvention — but adversity taught me how to keep moving with purpose. Stay Tranquilo was built during those tough moments as a reminder that everything will be alright. It started as a message I needed for myself and evolved into a platform built to inspire others.

Today, the brand is a reflection of that journey. The adversity didn’t break me — it clarified my mission: create positivity, represent my community proudly, and show people that even when life hits hardest, you can still find strength, identity, and purpose.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Stay Tranquilo is a Miami-born multimedia network and creative studio built on culture, positivity, and powerful storytelling. What started as a small podcast has grown into a fast-rising media platform that now drives over 150 million views annually, more than 10 million monthly social views, and a rapidly expanding slate of shows and personalities.

Our network features standout talent including Nikki Spoelstra, host of Becoming Her, and Greivis Vásquez, former NBA star and host of The Assist Podcast. These voices — alongside a growing roster of creators, athletes, and Miami personalities — help us cover sports, lifestyle, entertainment, and culture through an authentic Latino and Miami lens.

We specialize in three lanes:

Content & Podcasts: A multi-show network rooted in Miami culture and the Latino experience, delivering highly engaging, community-driven storytelling.

Studio & Production: A full-service creative studio where individuals and brands can record podcasts, film content, or host events in a professional, culturally inspired environment.

Brand Partnerships: We offer brands the chance to advertise across our entire ecosystem — podcast sponsorships, social integrations, branded storytelling, live events, and custom content.

We’re also a comprehensive production agency, having executed major campaigns with global partners like Coca-Cola, FIFA, the NFL, and others. Whether it’s a hero video, documentary piece, or national social campaign, we bring authenticity, creativity, and cultural insight into everything we produce.

What sets us apart is the mission behind the brand. Stay Tranquilo isn’t just a name — it’s a feeling we want people to experience. When someone hears “Stay Tranquilo,” we want them to feel grounded, inspired, hopeful, and reminded that everything will be alright. It’s a mindset built on perspective, gratitude, and enjoying life to the fullest — values deeply rooted in our Miami and Cuban upbringing.

We’re most proud of the community we’ve built and the positive movement behind the brand. Stay Tranquilo represents culture, resilience, and storytelling that feels real. Our growth — from zero to a multimedia network reaching over 150M views a year — is something we’re proud of not because of the numbers, but because of the purpose behind them. We built this from scratch to uplift people, represent our community, and bring something meaningful into the media landscape. And this is only the beginning.

How do you define success?
This is a great question. I truly believe success is defined by living a life of purpose. A purpose driven life is what brings joy, it brings ambition, it brings excitement into life. Success is not defined through status, money, or material items but through the things that make you happy. To be successful is to wake up grateful everyday with the opportunity to live life today. It is being grateful for your health, friends, family, and impact to the community. If you live a life of purpose, that purpose leads to passion every day, that passion leads to progress, and progress leads to results. I am happy to attach purpose to my work and hope that as long as our purpose is tied to good the rest will align itself.
