I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all—our journey has been incredibly rewarding, but far from easy. Our company’s roots go back more than 60 years to Colombia, where our founder built his first residential home. That legacy taught us early on that craftsmanship, integrity, and persistence are the foundation of this business. When our family brought that tradition to Miami, we quickly learned that the South Florida market comes with its own set of challenges—strict building codes, complex permitting processes, coastal engineering requirements, and the constant need to adapt to new technologies and evolving client expectations.
As a father-and-son team, we’ve faced everything from hurricanes disrupting job sites to supply-chain issues, labor shortages, and the unique complexities of building luxury custom homes in dense neighborhoods and waterfront properties. But each challenge strengthened us. It pushed us to refine our systems, build stronger relationships with engineers, vendors, inspectors, and city officials, and develop the proven methods that define our work today.
With more than 25 years of hands-on experience in the Miami market, we’ve learned that no two projects—and no two families—are the same.
