Life & Work with Liane Sangollo of Boca Raton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Liane Sangollo.

Hi Liane , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Liane Sangollo’s path has never been straight yet every twist shaped the international coach, author, and HR strategist she is today.

With 20 years in manufacturing and M&A in Canada, Liane mastered driving business results and leading people. As someone with dyslexia, she learned early to approach problems differently. “I had to think fast, move fast, and trust my gut,” she says. “That became my edge.”

After earning certifications in psychotherapy and professional coaching, she wrote a book. Against the odds, and with dyslexia as a daily challenge, it was published, catching attention in the United States.

In 2017, she expanded her company and launched a new division in Florida. Starting from scratch in a new market, she built her coaching and HR training practice focused on behavior, culture, and improving bottom lines. Her services grew to include English, French, and Spanish after she decided to learn Spanish herself helping leaders and teams across industries transform results.

Today, Liane coaches as well engineers at FIU on tech projects, leveraging her own stress- and anxiety-management app. She combines neuroscience, brain-gym exercises, hypnosis, and emotional intelligence in her work, and in the manufacturing world. Discipline drives everything she does: she follows coaching, training, and nutrition routines herself and now runs retreats to help others change habits and improve their lives with neursoscience approach.

“I didn’t have a big network. I had faith, work ethic, and a suitcase,” she laughs. “But people believed in me, and I never stopped learning.” The ups and downs were real. Moments she considered quitting but every challenge taught her something new. “You don’t know your strength until life puts you face-to-face with it,” she reflects.

Now working internationally, Liane impacts companies, leaders, and individuals, proving that resilience, reinvention, and bold faith can truly change the world around you.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting a business in a new country was far from easy. I remember spending hours trying to set meetings, only to have people not call back or show up. I attended countless events, Chamber of Commerce meetings, and conferences, all in search of the right connections. Building credibility from scratch was a daily challenge I had to prove myself over and over.

Then COVID hit. My business was just starting to grow when many companies went bankrupt and projects were frozen. At the same time, I couldn’t return to Canada to be with my sister while she was sick, and losing her was devastating. Those months tested me like nothing else.

I also faced personal and professional growth challenges—learning Spanish while running the business, coaching engineers on complex tech projects, and developing my stress-management app. Maintaining discipline in my own coaching, training, and nutrition routines while creating retreats for clients who wanted to change habits was another constant balancing act.

Through it all, I learned that obstacles don’t stop you they shape you. I discovered strength, patience, and resilience I didn’t know I had. Every challenge became an opportunity to grow, adapt, and push further than I ever imagined.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m very hands-on! I don’t just give advice from a distance. Clients often say, “You’re not a consultant, you’re part of our team.” That’s exactly how I work: I step into their shoes, fully committed to their success. I do hands-on training for manufacturing and other companies, helping them improve their bottom line through practical, behavior-based approaches.

I blend creativity with neuroscience, designing exercises and solutions tailored to each client. I don’t just teach soft skills, I focus on what I call mechanic behaviors: practical, brain-based actions that truly change results. I work with four key pillars of brain hormones to drive performance, engagement, and growth.

I also provide coaching in different formats: group sessions, one-on-one work, and specialized programs. One of my programs, Women in Motion, helps women build self-esteem, balance professional and personal life, market themselves effectively, and step up their game even while managing the challenges of parenting.

In addition, I run a community for people with neurodivergence, like ADHD or dyslexia, offering guidance, support, and strategies to help them thrive because I know firsthand the unique strengths and challenges that come with it.

What sets me apart is this combination: creativity, adaptability, and a deep understanding of how people’s brains and behaviors interact in real-world business challenges. When clients succeed, they come back sometimes for completely new projects because they know my methods work. That’s what I’m most proud of: helping people and companies reach a higher level, consistently and also learning Spanish in time of COVID

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I’ve been incredibly lucky to have a strong circle of support along the way. I have mentors who guided me professionally and personally. Some of whom have been with me since I worked under them years ago. Their wisdom and honest feedback helped me make the tough calls and keep growing.

My family and friends have also been a backbone. They believed in me, gave me courage, and weren’t afraid to challenge me when I needed it. Those conversations shaped both me and my business.

I’m also deeply grateful to the professional communities that gave me opportunities as organizations like FloridaMakes and the SFMA, the head of manufacturing business advisor, and the leaders and clients within manufacturing and other industries who trusted me to make a difference. Some of these people gave me my first chance in a new market, and their faith made all the difference.

I could never have done it alone. Every mentor, friend, colleague, and client who supported me during challenging times helped me grow, build my business, and reach the level I’m at today. Their guidance and encouragement continue to inspire me, and I’m profoundly thankful.
