Hi Christina, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m Christina Hand, the founder of Cilverbow Botanicals, Miami’s mobile natural nail care studio. I’ve been a licensed nail specialist for over a decade, and my journey started in traditional salons where I saw how hard it was to find truly clean, non-toxic nail care. I wanted to create something different — a service that focused on natural nail health, botanical ingredients, and personalized care without harsh chemicals.
That vision became Cilverbow Botanicals: a fully mobile, eco-luxury nail experience that comes directly to clients’ homes, hotels, and offices. Along the way, I launched my own line of plant-based nail oils and treatments and built a wellness-centered approach designed to repair, strengthen, and celebrate natural nails.
Today, my mission is simple: to make clean, restorative nail care accessible, relaxing, and deeply intentional for everyone I serve in Miami.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. When I started Cilverbow Botanicals, I had to build everything from the ground up — managing the business, servicing clients, creating my clean nail-care products, and growing my online presence all on my own. Building a client base without initial visibility was challenging, and learning branding, marketing, and operations at the same time stretched me thin. As a Black woman–owned business in a competitive industry, I’ve had to push through obstacles and carve out space for a clean, natural approach to nail care. But every challenge has made the brand stronger and more aligned with my mission.

I specialize in waterless manicures, restorative treatments, and botanical-based nail care that supports long-term nail health — not just short-term aesthetics. I’m known for offering a calming, spa-level experience anywhere my clients need it: homes, hotels, offices, or on-the-go. I’m most proud of creating a safe, eco-luxury alternative in an industry often dominated by harsh chemicals. What sets me apart is my commitment to ingredient transparency, personalized care, and the belief that beauty should never compromise wellness. My approach blends holistic rituals, high-performance botanicals, and a decade of expertise to help clients repair, strengthen, and truly love their natural nails.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that growth requires patience and alignment. Building a business, especially one rooted in wellness, means trusting the process, staying true to your values, and not rushing just to keep up with the industry. When I slowed down and focused on intention — clean ingredients, quality service, and genuine client care — everything started to fall into place.
