Hi Marcus, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been drawn to the idea of creating something of my own. As a first-generation Haitian American, I grew up with a deep awareness of what opportunity can mean, and entrepreneurship became both a responsibility and an invitation to shape my own path.
Along the way, I tried different ventures from small hustles, creative ideas, and eventually an organic food brand. Each one, whether it took off or didn’t, taught me something essential about discipline, branding, consistency, and the grit behind turning an idea into something real.
All of those experiences led me to what I’m building today: NUMODE, a performance hydration and cognitive supplement brand for people who want to elevate their mind, energy, and ambition. It’s the most aligned I’ve ever felt with my purpose, combining my passion for wellness, growth, and becoming the strongest version of yourself.
I’m still evolving and still learning, but every step of the journey has prepared me for this chapter. NUMODE is the product of those early experiments, the lessons, and the belief that you can always reinvent yourself and create something bigger than where you started.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Entrepreneurship exposes every insecurity and every gap in your knowledge, and I’ve faced all of it — financial setbacks, failed ideas, burnout, and moments where I had to completely start over.
As a first-generation Haitian American, I didn’t grow up with a roadmap for this path. Most of what I’ve learned came from trial, error, and trusting the process even when nothing was certain. There were times I questioned whether things would come together or if I was just building in the dark.
But through every chapter, I’ve always felt backed by God, not by privilege, money, or connections, but by faith, resilience, and the belief that I’m being shaped for something bigger.
Looking back, the challenges didn’t stop me; they strengthened me. They built the discipline, humility, and clarity I needed to create NUMODE with intention and purpose.
We’ve been impressed with Numode, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

I work full-time as a financial professional while building NUMODE, so I understand what it means to juggle ambition, responsibilities, and personal goals. What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
For me, the qualities that matter most are mindset and faith. You have to believe in the vision long before it becomes real. Entrepreneurship brings doubt and uncertainty, so choosing faith over fear becomes a daily practice.
I’ve learned that whatever you feed grows. If you feed distractions or doubt, they’ll take over. But if you feed your purpose, your belief, and your consistency, you create momentum.
Mindset is the engine, and faith is the anchor. Together, they’ve carried me through every pivot, every setback, and every new chapter I’ve stepped into.
