Meet Cira & Daniel Starke of Miami

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cira & Daniel Starke.

Hi Cira & Daniel, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
We actually started right after the pandemic, when life unexpectedly pushed us into a moment where we had no choice but to develop ourselves and tap into what we truly loved. Dani is a producer and DJ, and we’ve always shared a passion for the entertainment industry. I (Cira) discovered early on that the things that move people — music, ambience, emotions — were all rooted in events, and that’s where I naturally gravitated.

Music To Go started with literally one speaker — and the funny part is, it wasn’t even ours. Life just placed it in our hands at the right moment, and we saw the opportunity and the vision to grow something meaningful from it. From that one speaker, we started saying yes, learning, improving, and building step by step.

Dani’s music expertise combined with my meticulous vision and creativity created the duo behind what Music To Go is today. Our event-production company is a true reflection of both of us — his sound, my eye, our passion, and our drive. That’s why we’re not just another company in Miami. We’re something different. We design, we produce, and we create experiences with intention, care, and a signature style that comes from who we are as a team.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Of course not — it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Growing in this industry requires major investment. Event-production equipment is extremely costly, and to truly operate at a professional level, you need a lot more than just one piece. So scaling wasn’t only about passion; it required taking real risks and reinvesting everything back into the business.

On top of that, Miami has tons of event-production companies. The competition is fierce, and trying to put our name out there and become “someone” among so many established businesses has definitely been challenging. Standing out takes consistency, creativity, and the courage to stay true to your own style.

Another struggle was the reality of wearing every hat in the beginning. We had to be our own labor, delivery team, technicians, accountants, designers, and community managers — all at once. Add nightlife schedules and back-to-back events, and it can be overwhelming. But we always saw it as part of the process.

Those challenges shaped us. They built our discipline, our resilience, and our understanding of every corner of this business. And honestly, they made us stronger — they’re a huge part of why Music To Go is what it is today.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Dani (Starke) is a DJ and producer, and I (Cira) am an event producer — and together we’re definitely multitaskers. Both of our careers have always led us to the entertainment world, and that’s exactly what we specialize in: creating experiences. Entertainment is the place where our talents naturally meet.

Starke is known as an exceptional DJ — if you’ve ever heard him play, you understand what that means. His talent, technical skill, and ability to read a room are truly special. He’s also a sound engineer, so his knowledge goes way beyond just mixing music; it’s a full understanding of audio, energy, and how to create moments.

I’ve always been the mind behind the aesthetics, the logistics, the creative direction, and the way we elevate every single setup. My vision paired with his musical expertise makes us a really unique duo.

What we’re most proud of is Music To Go. We built this company from absolutely nothing — with sweat, sacrifice, passion, and consistency. Watching what it has become today fills our hearts because we know every inch of the work that went into it.

What sets us apart is that we’re not just a production company — we’re artists. Dani brings deep musical talent and technical knowledge, and I bring creativity, innovation, and an eye for detail and design. Together, we don’t just “set up” events… we craft experiences. That combination of artistry, passion, and vision is what truly makes Music To Go different from the rest.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, we were both very different but perfectly aligned in the things that shaped who we are today — creativity, passion, and a natural pull toward entertainment.

I (Cira) was always the loudest, most energetic person in the room — in the best way. I’ve always had a big personality, strong intuition with people, and really great sales skills. I loved talking, connecting, organizing things, and turning any moment into something fun. And at the same time, I’ve always had a creative eye and a love for details. Event production fits me perfectly because it blends my personality, creativity, leadership, and ability to connect with people.

Dani (Starke) actually started as a sound engineer before anything else. His love for music was deep from the beginning — he was always the kid exploring sounds, technology, and how things worked behind the scenes. That technical foundation in sound engineering later evolved into DJing, producing, and building his own artistic style. His understanding of audio is both creative and scientific, which makes him truly unique.

Even though our interests showed up differently, they were always rooted in the same thing: creating experiences. Today, those childhood traits — my big personality, creativity, and sales instinct, paired with Dani’s early sound-engineering background, musical talent, and artistic vision — are exactly what make us the perfect duo behind Music To Go.
