Meet Suhelen (Sue) Solorzano — A Fort Lauderdale Realtor with Heart
Originally from Peru, Suhelen “Sue” Solorzano moved to the United States over two decades ago and made Fort Lauderdale her forever home. Her journey into real estate began when she started purchasing a few properties of her own — both short- and long-term investments. Through that experience, Sue discovered her passion for helping others achieve the same dream of homeownership and building wealth through real estate.
“Buying a property is one of the biggest investments you’ll ever make,” Sue says. “Whether it’s an investment property or a home to create lifelong memories with your loved ones, it’s a decision that deserves care, guidance, and expertise.”
Before becoming a Realtor, Sue worked as a hairstylist at the Harbor Beach Marriott Resort, where she loved meeting people from all over the world—locals, travelers, and brides preparing for their big day. Although she cherished that chapter, her desire to build something of her own led her to pursue real estate full-time.
When Sue began her real estate career, she was a single mom with a two-year-old son. Balancing motherhood and a growing business wasn’t easy—long hours, weekends, and constant learning—but her determination and passion carried her through. Today, she’s built a thriving career that allows her both flexibility and fulfillment.
Now married and part of a beautiful blended family, Sue continues to thrive doing what she loves most—helping others find their place to call home. When she’s not assisting clients, you’ll find her cheering on her son at soccer games, spending time outdoors, working out, or playing pickleball with friends.
“I’m truly grateful for the life I’ve built,” she shares. “Real estate has given me the opportunity to help people with one of the most important decisions of their lives—and that’s something I don’t take for granted.”
