Hi Paul, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey began in South Florida over twenty years ago, driven by a simple goal: to build something lasting for myself, my family, and my community. I began in real estate, helping everyday people find homes and understand the power of ownership. Over time, I built Sunset Realty, a boutique brokerage recognized for its integrity, results, and lasting relationships.

Along the way, I noticed something: many clients were buying homes but weren’t financially protected. That insight led me to open Statewide Insurance & Financial Services, a full-service property and casualty insurance agency. It allowed me to help people safeguard their assets, not just acquire them.

But even after years of success in both industries, I kept seeing the same pattern: people were working hard, earning money, but still missing the path to true wealth and freedom. That’s what inspired me to create The Hybrid Wealth System, a blueprint that teaches agents, entrepreneurs, and investors how to turn their insurance and real estate income into long-term financial freedom.

Today, my mission is simple: to empower others to own their future not just with income, but with assets, systems, and education. I’m living proof that you can start from the ground up, learn, pivot, and build something that not only changes your life but creates opportunities for others to do the same.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not a smooth road, but every challenge shaped who I am today. When I first started in real estate, I came in with drive but not much guidance. I had to learn the business from the ground up, marketing, contracts, negotiations, and most importantly, people. There were moments when deals fell apart, markets shifted overnight, and I had to rebuild more than once.

The 2008 housing crash was one of the toughest seasons. Practically everything I worked for was tested. But that period also became a turning point; instead of folding, I diversified. That’s when I got into insurance and started connecting the dots between protection, income, and long-term wealth.

The road to success has had detours, setbacks, and lessons that no classroom could teach. But every time I faced adversity, I used it as fuel to grow stronger, smarter, and more focused. That mindset eventually led me to create The Hybrid Wealth System because I wanted to help others navigate their own obstacles, build multiple streams of income, and create the kind of financial stability I had to learn the hard way.

So no, it wasn’t smooth, but it was worth every challenge. The struggles built the systems, and those systems are now helping others win faster and smarter than I did.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I operate across three main pillars that all connect under one mission, helping people create financial freedom through ownership, education, and smart planning.

The first pillar is Sunset Realty, my South Florida brokerage. We’ve built a reputation for results, integrity, and personal service, helping buyers, sellers, and investors not just close transactions but make informed wealth-building decisions through real estate.

The second pillar is Statewide Insurance & Financial Services, my property and casualty insurance agency. Here, we help clients protect what they’ve worked hard to build: homes, cars, and businesses, while also showing new agents how to turn a license into a six-figure career.

And finally, there’s The Hybrid Wealth System, my newest and proudest creation. It’s an educational platform and community that bridges the gap between earning commissions and building wealth. We teach agents, entrepreneurs, and investors how to leverage their insurance and real estate income to acquire assets, grow passive income, and build long-term stability.

What sets me apart is that everything I teach comes from real experience, not theory. I’ve been through the market ups and downs, built from scratch, and learned firsthand what truly works.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of Hybrid Wealth because it represents a movement, not just a business. It’s about empowerment, ownership, and rewriting the narrative for anyone ready to take control of their financial future.

What I want readers to know is this: whether you’re buying your first home, launching your insurance agency, or just getting serious about financial freedom, there’s a roadmap, and it’s possible. The Hybrid Wealth System is here to guide you every step of the way.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Mentorship and networking have played a huge role in my journey. Early on, I didn’t have a traditional mentor, so I had to learn through experience, reading, studying successful people, and making a lot of mistakes along the way. But over time, I realized that real growth comes from being around the right people, people who’ve already been where you’re trying to go.

My advice is simple: don’t just look for a mentor, look for alignment. Find someone whose values match your vision. The right mentor won’t just give you tactics; they’ll give you perspective. They’ll challenge how you think about money, business, and yourself.

In terms of networking, I’ve learned that value always attracts value. When you lead with authenticity and focus on how you can help others, opportunities open up naturally. Most of my biggest partnerships and collaborations came from genuine relationships, not forced introductions.

That’s one of the reasons I created The Hybrid Wealth System. It’s not just about financial education, it’s about community. It’s a place where real estate agents, insurance brokers, and entrepreneurs can connect, collaborate, and learn from each other. Because when you’re in the right room, surrounded by the right energy, your growth accelerates.

So my biggest advice? Be coachable, stay curious, and don’t be afraid to reach out. Sometimes your next mentor or partnership is just one conversation away.
