Today we’d like to introduce you to EZRA WARRINGTON.
EZRA, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started Nuezra Health Services after seeing how many people in our community struggled just to get to their medical appointments. Whether it was seniors, people in wheelchairs, or families without reliable transportation — the need was clear.
In 2021, I took a leap of faith, bought one van, and started driving myself. I handled everything — dispatching, billing, scheduling — all while learning how to build a business that actually made a difference. Over time, we grew from that single van to a small fleet serving clients throughout Broward and Miami-Dade County.
It’s been a journey full of long days and lessons, but what keeps me going is knowing that we’re helping people maintain their independence and access the care they need. Every trip is personal to us — that’s the heart behind Nuezra Health Services.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not — but every challenge taught me something valuable. In the beginning, I was doing everything myself — dispatching, billing, and even driving. Managing cash flow, vehicle maintenance, and finding reliable drivers were all uphill battles at times.
There were moments when a van would break down midweek, or insurance costs would hit harder than expected, and I had to find a way to keep things running smoothly without letting clients down. Balancing operations, compliance, and customer service while trying to grow the business tested my patience and faith more than once.
But those struggles shaped Nuezra’s foundation. They forced me to build better systems, focus on training, and create a culture that values consistency and compassion. The road hasn’t been smooth, but it’s been worth it — because every obstacle turned into a lesson that made us stronger and more reliable for our clients.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Nuezra Health Services is a non-emergency medical transportation company based right here in Broward County. We provide safe, dependable, and compassionate transportation for people who need help getting to and from medical appointments, dialysis, physical therapy, hospital discharges, or family care visits.
We specialize in wheelchair and ambulatory transport — and we’re known for being on time, professional, and genuinely caring. Our drivers are trained, certified, and treat every passenger with patience and respect. It’s not just about getting someone from point A to B; it’s about making sure they feel comfortable, valued, and cared for along the way.
What sets us apart is our personal touch. We remember our clients’ routines, preferences, and even birthdays. We know that for many people, we’re the only friendly face they see that day — and we take that seriously.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the reputation we’ve built for reliability and integrity. Nuezra has grown through word of mouth, not big advertising — because people trust us and share their experiences.
At the end of the day, I want readers to know that Nuezra Health Services isn’t just a transportation company — it’s a community service built on empathy, consistency, and respect.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
The most important quality behind my success has been consistency. No matter what’s happening — slow weeks, vehicle issues, or long hours — I show up and stay committed to the mission. Consistency builds trust, and in this business, trust means everything.
I also believe empathy plays a huge role. When you genuinely care about people — your clients, your team, and your community — it shows in your work. That’s what keeps clients calling back and drivers proud to wear the Nuezra name.
For me, success isn’t just about growth — it’s about staying grounded, treating people right, and keeping the same level of dedication that got me started in the first place.
