Hi Esther, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Thee Maid of Content provides wedding content creation for couples on their big day. We create short, shareable content that lets couples relive the magic of their wedding within 24 hours. We exist to scratch the itch between the event and the delivery of your photographer and videographer’s timeless work. With the rise of social media, I noticed a space in the market for a vendor who could capture the in-the-moment energy in a fresh, shareable way. Our very first wedding went viral—and the rest is history. I’ve been in the content creation space for some time. I brought the idea up to a friend snd she had some friends who were getting married and they wanted this service at their wedding. I offered to do it for free. The couples wedding invitation had already gone viral so I had a good feeling about it. In 6 months we’ve done 11 weddings! We already have bookings for 2026. We are constantly trying to up the ante. Our packages started at 5, 7 and 10 we have since upgraded them to 10, 15 and 20. We absolutely love what we do and we can’t wait to see where else it takes us.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some of the struggles have been not knowing the wedding industry. I thought since we started in march that we would be booked and busy in the summertime because that is wedding season. I didn’t know that summer was tough for Florida because it is so hot. Also I really thought going viral on our first try would get us all the bookings we need but virality only lasts for so long. You have to keep going and have a plan even after the wave.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a content creator through and through. We manage our church’s account and other ventures in the social space. What sets us apart is that we also take care of the posting for you. That way it takes the burden off you and you and your guests/participants just get to enjoy the content.
