Today we’d like to introduce you to LaVerne Daley.
Hi LaVerne, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Visionary Strategist| Global Speaker| Social Impact Leader
I consider myself a global citizen, shaped by a life that began across three countries and a curiosity that’s taken me to many more. My love of travel started in childhood and, over the years, evolved into one of my greatest professional strengths-building partnerships, cultural bridges, and purpose-driven collaborations around the world.
Before founding L Global LLC in 2016, I spent more than two decades leading teams and advising organizations through some of the most defining moments of our lifetime, from 9/11 and the 2008 market crash to the global pandemic. I’ve had the privilege of working with Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, and start-ups, helping them navigate uncertainty, strengthen culture, and align strategy with purpose. Those experiences gave me a front-row seat to what makes organizations thrive: clarity, purpose, empathy, and connection.
I founded L Global with a single vision to help good, growing, and even struggling organizations achieve greatness. Today, as an award-winning global strategist and certified leadership coach, I lead a team dedicated to guiding leaders and brands through transformation at every level-individual, organizational, and global.
From our headquarters in Miami, and with new locations in Tampa and Atlanta, we partner with clients across various industries, with a particular emphasis on healthcare, technology, education, entertainment, government, hospitality, and the arts to help them grow profitably and purposefully. Our offerings include strategic consulting, executive coaching, and public speaking, typically in the areas of leadership, branding, marketing, client engagement, and strategic planning.
What makes L Global unique is our social-enterprise model: every engagement contributes to four areas of social good- leadership and entrepreneurship for women, arts and culture access for all, sustainability, and education. We believe that leadership should lift others, and business should leave communities stronger than it found them.
Community has always been at the heart of my work. Over the years, I’ve served as a Volunteer Chair, Committee Leader, and active member of numerous local nonprofit organizations including United Way, Kiwanis Club, and Chapman Partnership for the Homeless, among others. Each role has deepened my understanding that service is leadership in its purest form. One of the most memorable highlights was partnering with the Miami Dolphins to lead a Veterans Hiring Event. This experience reflected my belief that service, purpose, and opportunity are the cornerstones of thriving communities. Collaborating with local leaders and organizations that share the same commitment to impact continues to be one of the most rewarding aspects of my journey.
My journey has also included extraordinary opportunities to speak and guest lecture around the world, from Dubai’s GITEX—the world’s largest tech conference—to film and media events across Italy, Germany, and Greece, as well as leadership seminars at universities including Sapienza and CIEE in Italy, Nova Southeastern, Keiser University, and Miami Dade College and others, locally. These experiences continuously reaffirm that leadership, innovation, and connection truly have no borders.
That same belief drives the upcoming JOI: Our Journeys of Impact platform, launching in 2026—a global storytelling and leadership series that highlights the innovative people, places, and possibilities shaping a more connected world.
Whether advising executives, mentoring students, or speaking on international stages through every chapter, my mission remains the same: to help others lead with clarity, live without borders, and create a ripple of impact that endures long after the spotlight fades.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has been meaningful, but it hasn’t always been smooth. Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve had seasons where clarity came only after seasons of chaos, and progress seemed excruciatingly slow.
Building a purpose-driven business means you’re often swimming against the current—walking a tightrope of exuberant vision, vulnerability, and painful patience, mainly when the work is rooted in both strategy and social impact. Early on, one of my biggest challenges was learning to scale without losing sight of our goals, while staying true to L Global’s core philosophy: Your Life, No Borders. I had to learn that growth doesn’t have to mean compromise; it can mean expansion with integrity.
Navigating international expansion brought another layer of complexity. There were years when I spent months at a time traveling to overseas markets, developing partnerships, launching collaborations, and building cultural bridges even in the midst of a global pandemic. Those experiences tested my endurance and adaptability, but they also deepened my understanding of leadership beyond geography. They reminded me that meaningful work often happens outside your comfort zone and far from the spotlight.
On a personal level, I’ve also learned to honor the seasons of rebuilding that follow great loss or transition. For me, those seasons have included caring for a terminally ill parent, grieving the loss of a sibling, and supporting my daughter, who lives with a life-threatening genetic illness. Those experiences helped shape my perspective and helped develop a laser focus on finding humanity in our everyday moments.
They reminded me that behind every title, organization, or brand are people navigating their own invisible battles. That awareness has shaped how I coach and collaborate with leaders across industries from healthcare and technology to hospitality, education, and the arts. It has taught me that strategy and empathy must coexist; that the best leaders build environments where both performance and people can thrive joyfully.
Every obstacle is a teacher, reminding me that impact is defined by endurance and the courage to begin again.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud that L Global has remained true to its founding philosophy: “Your Life, No Borders.” It’s more than a tagline; it’s the heartbeat of everything we do. It reflects a worldview shaped by decades of global experience and the conviction that great leadership transcends geography, industry, and circumstance.
At its core, our mission is straightforward: to support individuals and organizations in their professional, personal, and purposeful growth.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
The quality that has shaped my success more than any other is resilience with grace. Not the kind of resilience that simply pushes through, but the kind that pauses, reflects, and rises with greater clarity and purpose.
In leadership and in life, things rarely go exactly as planned. Markets shift, people change, and life happens in ways you can’t predict. Over the years, I’ve learned that the true measure of success isn’t how perfectly you execute a plan, but how calmly and intentionally you adapt when circumstances shift while communicating directly with honesty and clarity to all stakeholders, along the way.
That mindset has carried me through global expansion, personal loss, and seasons of rebuilding. It’s what allows me to help others navigate uncertainty with confidence and compassion.
Grace, to me, is strength with empathy – the ability to stay focused and faithful to purpose even when the path forward feels unclear. That quality continues to guide how I lead, coach, and live. It’s the force behind every chapter of my journey and the foundation of everything we build at L Global.
