Meet Adrienne Simpson of Adrienne Rebecca Boutique

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrienne Simpson.

Hi Adrienne, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey began in early 2019, following my layoff from my job. I started in a shared space with an aesthetician, renting a space of less than 150 square feet. My initial focus was on jewelry that I handcrafted, and to expand my offerings, I added clothing. With the onset of COVID-19, I was forced to pivot to strictly online, which is also when I rebranded to Adrienne Rebecca Boutique, offering an array of both clothing and accessories. When the boutique first launched, it catered to a general audience. Over time, Adrienne Rebecca Boutique refined its target customer to professional, high-net-worth women looking for well-made clothing at a good value. Our pieces allow women to feel confident in both the workplace and in their daily lives without having to sacrifice their personal sense of style. As a brand rooted in faith and the importance of giving back, we have initiated, planned, and executed a prom dress drive as well as raised funds recently to support those affected in Jamaica by Hurricane Melissa.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has been anything but smooth, but rewarding nonetheless. Competing with larger retailers like SHEIN and Zara has been increasingly difficult, as some women have not had the experience of shopping with a smaller boutique, and the importance of a curated closet of quality clothing. Marketing to this audience has been a continued area of pivoting, experimenting, and repeating.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Adrienne Rebecca Boutique?
Through our custom “Wardrobe Wednesday”, we show how to thoughtfully combine garments from our collections to create refined looks for work, interviews, conferences, client meetings, and beyond. Our styling advice focuses on developing
a versatile capsule wardrobe that effortlessly transitions from day to evening, so customers always feel polished yet comfortable. We believe that style should serve and empower a woman without compromising her dignity or requiring constant investment in the latest trends.

Adrienne Rebecca Boutique was founded by CEO Adrienne Rebecca, an industry expert with over 25 years of experience in fashion and style consulting. I have worked with major retailers to provide styling advice for women of all ages, body types, and personal tastes. My expertise and passion for creating a personalized customer experience are the driving forces behind my company. At Adrienne Rebecca Boutique, I believe that every woman deserves to feel
beautiful and confident in her clothes. Our team handpicks high-quality, fashionable pieces and works closely with each customer to understand their unique style and needs. We get to know our customers on an individual level and
provide a highly customized shopping experience for repeat clients and new shoppers alike.

By educating and inspiring women, we aim to establish ourselves as a trusted source of fashion
expertise and enhance our brand reputation.

As we continue to grow and generate profits from our sales, we are committed to reinvesting a portion of our earnings into expanding our inventory.
