Hi Renata, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started reselling as hobby when my older son (he is 18 now) was born. It was a way to pass on gently used items and refresh my wardrobe. I love a good hunt and always loved fashion. I had corporate career in beauty and fashion over the years but always sold / bought things for myself and family as a hobby. 4 years ago, I decided to pursue online reselling full time, leaving my corporate job and working out of my house. Trying to establish my name, I approached an influencer trying to clean her wardrobe. I ended up selling her items for her and she posted about us on her profile and recommended us to her influencer friends. The rest is history, we started to work with multiple influencers, fashion enthusiasts to help them pass on items they no longer loved. 2 years ago we added brick and mortar store to the mix. First it was smaller location to get my feet wet but we quickly outgrew it and moved to 3.000 sq ft space where we are now. We are largest luxury consignment store in Miami now.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I don’t believe any true, sustainable progress is a smooth ride. You make mistakes, you face challenges but they make you grow. :Physical retail is a huge challenge in times of online, but I find with great customer service and careful curation people love to come to store and try / touch the items.

Preloved will continue to grow. People love designer quality, better price point and opportunity to score something unique. People love a good hunt and possibility of style expression. Environmental factor is important especially to gen z / alpha.
