Let’s jump in: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Intelligence, energy, and integrity are all essential qualities, but integrity is the one I value most.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m a doctor, and I’ve always been fascinated by the connection between skin, health, and emotional well-being. That passion led me to create Olie Essentials, a brand that blends science and simplicity to offer skincare that truly works. Every formula is medical-grade, clinically tested, and cruelty-free, carefully designed to care for all skin types at every stage of life.
As someone who loves sports and an active lifestyle, I believe self-care goes beyond skincare. That’s why we’re also developing a line of comfortable yoga and casual wear, created with the same philosophy of balance, simplicity, and authenticity that defines Olie.
What makes Olie unique is its harmony between clinical efficacy and simple beauty. It’s an honest brand, created from a medical perspective but with a human, emotional touch. Olie represents self-love, wellness, and a more mindful way of caring for yourself, from the inside out.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a child, I believed I had to follow a ‘safe’ path and that my passions couldn’t become my work. Today, I know it’s possible to create something that combines purpose and joy, just like I’ve done with Olie Essentials
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
After experiencing family losses and dealing with insecurities I had since childhood, deciding to stay and build my life in the U.S. gave me an extra push. It allowed me to show myself how powerful I really am, and how strong the mind can be when you are centered and confident in yourself
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
I’d say the public version of me is a reflection of who I truly am, but of course, there’s always a more private, deeper side that not everyone sees. A photo can’t capture that , the people who really know me feel what I convey, my essence, and see that I’m aligned in what I think, feel, and do. What people see publicly is the part of me that is confident, passionate, and committed to what I create, but my full self includes all the growth, struggles, and reflections that have shaped me.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. When have you had to bet the company?
Being an entrepreneur means taking calculated risks, but always with a clear vision and commitment to what you believe in. Every step of building Olie Essentials , from developing medical-grade, cruelty-free skincare to expanding into lifestyle products ,required me to take risks. Those risks are what allow the brand to truly reflect my values and my commitment to self-care, wellness, and creating something meaningful
