Dr. Natasha Evans shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Natasha, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
I’m being called to unapologetically expand my voice beyond comfort zones and into uncharted platforms — including high-level stages, large-scale conferences, and transformational coaching spaces that once intimidated me. There was a time I second-guessed my worthiness and underestimated the power of my voice, thinking I needed more credentials, more time, or more permission. But now I realize that I was already equipped — and the fear I once felt was really an invitation to rise. Today, I am boldly walking into rooms that I used to feel unqualified for. Speaking, preaching, teaching, and emceeing in rooms I never imagined because I’ve learned that obedience outweighs perfection. I’m called to ignite clarity, purpose, and power in others — and I’m no longer afraid to be seen doing it.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a child, I got in trouble for speaking in class. II believed that my voice was “too much” — too loud, too passionate, too different. I often felt like I had to shrink or soften who I was to be accepted or to not make others uncomfortable. But now, I know that my voice was never too much — it was simply meant for more. I’ve learned that what once made me feel “different” is exactly what makes me divinely chosen. My voice is my gift, my calling, and my assignment — and I no longer hide it. Today, I speak, lead, and empower others with the very thing I was once afraid to fully embrace. My voice makes rooms shift — and that’s not something I quiet anymore. That’s something I thank God for.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I’d look into my younger eyes and say: ‘Sweet girl, that voice you think is ‘too much’ is actually your anointing in disguise. One day, the same talkative spirit that got you side-eyes in class will shift rooms, capture audiences, and command stages. God placed a message in your mouth — one that will encourage the broken, equip the called, and educate generations. You were never meant to blend in — you were born to speak life, lead boldly, and light up dark spaces. Keep speaking, even when it feels like no one’s listening. Heaven is!
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
A cultural value I protect at all costs is having “Dignity”, For me, dignity means honoring the inherent worth of every person—treating others with respect, empathy, and fairness regardless of their background, role, or circumstance. Having dignity in the Haitian culture is rooted in the nation’s history of surviving oppression and colonialism, this concept prioritizes self-respect, honor, and resilience above all else. Dignity, and the related value of respect are not just personal traits but collective virtues essential to the community’s identity and survival.
Key aspects of dignity and its related values include:
Family and respect for elders: Family “Fanmi” which we know as the center of Haitian life, and showing nothing but respect “Respe” to elders and ancestors is a foundational cultural practice. Education is highly valued as a path to a better future and a way to break the cycle of poverty. For example: My parents make significant sacrifices to ensure their children have access to education, viewing it as a powerful tool for upward mobility and community upliftment.
I believe dignity creates the foundation for trust and collaboration. When people feel valued, they bring their best selves forward. Protecting dignity means creating an environment where voices are heard, differences are respected, and everyone feels safe to contribute. Protecting dignity is non-negotiable for me because it aligns with who I am and the kind of culture I strive to build—one where people are seen, respected, and empowered to thrive.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
If I were to retire tomorrow, I believe my customers would miss the way I show up—with authenticity, excellence, and heart. Whether I’m hosting, officiating, or coaching, I don’t just provide a service; I create an experience that makes people feel seen, valued, and inspired. I’m intentional about making every moment meaningful—infusing faith, professionalism, and purpose into everything I do.
They would also miss the way I bring calm and confidence to high-pressure moments and joy to every celebration. My clients often say they feel peace when I’m present—that’s something I don’t take lightly. Beyond that, I think they’d miss the transformational energy I bring—the ability to turn ordinary moments into powerful memories. Ultimately, my work is about impact, not just performance, and that’s what I believe would leave the biggest imprint.
