Victoria Polchkova shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Victoria, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normal day for me starts with a morning run by the ocean — I love feeling the fresh air and energy of the waves. I enjoy staying active and trying new things that keep me inspired. After that, I usually work with my beauty clients, helping them feel confident and creating content related to my work. Every day is a mix of movement, creativity, and communication, which I really love.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Victoria, and I’m a beauty professional and content creator based in Miami. I specialize in advanced hair treatments and education, helping clients and students achieve healthy, shiny, and confident hair. My brand combines creativity, authenticity, and modern aesthetics — I love creating visual content, sharing transformations, and inspiring others to care for themselves inside and out. Right now, I’m developing training programs and collaborations with beauty brands to expand my reach and connect with a global audience.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
My earliest memory of feeling powerful was when I realized that beauty can transform how someone feels — not just outside, but inside too. From that moment, I knew I wanted to create change through my work, helping people see their own light.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
My earliest memory of feeling powerful was when I realized that beauty can transform how someone feels — not just outside, but inside too. From that moment, I knew I wanted to create change through my work, helping people see their own light.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes — what people see online is a real part of me, but not the whole story. I share my passion for beauty and creativity, but behind that is a woman who works hard, feels deeply, and constantly evolves. My online self is authentic, just filtered through light and art.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
I’d stop overthinking and start saying “yes” to everything that feels alive and real. I’d spend even more time creating, loving, traveling, and helping others discover their light. Life is too short to live halfway.
