We recently had the chance to connect with Adriano Dolce and have shared our conversation below.
Adriano, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What is a normal day like for you right now?
“My days start early—music, movement, and mindset first. I usually split my time between studio sessions, creative planning for AD ICONIQ, and managing visuals or campaigns for upcoming releases. I’m constantly bouncing between fashion concepts, production edits, and content shoots. Every day’s a mix of art and strategy—creating, refining, pushing the brand forward. Nights usually end late, either fine-tuning mixes or prepping the next drop. It’s nonstop, but it’s the kind of chaos I thrive in.”
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
“I’m DJ Adriano Dolce — a DJ, singer, producer, painter, and fashion creator behind AD ICONIQ, a brand that blends sound, art, and style into one bold universe. My world moves between studio sessions, the canvas, and the runway — everything I do is about emotion, color, and rhythm. AD ICONIQ isn’t just fashion; it’s performance, attitude, and self-expression. Through my label House of Dolce Records and my art, I’m building a movement that celebrates individuality, queerness, and creative power — turning life itself into a luxury experience.”
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
“There was a point when I lost almost everything I thought defined me — people, stability, even direction. That moment forced me to rebuild from zero, to create my own world instead of waiting for someone to hand me one. It taught me that power comes from identity, and art is how you survive what tries to break you. Since then, I’ve seen the world as a stage for reinvention — nothing’s permanent except your vision and how hard you fight for it.”
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
“More than once. There were moments when I felt completely invisible — when the industry doors stayed shut, the money ran out, and the noise of doubt got too loud. But then I’d remind myself why I started: to build something bigger than ego or approval. I realized quitting would mean erasing everything I’d already survived. So instead, I turned the pain into art — music, fashion, paint, movement. Every time I wanted to give up, I created louder.”
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
“The public version of me is real — it’s just amplified. What people see is the energy, the confidence, the visual language I’ve built to express what’s inside. But behind it, I’m quiet, observant, and always creating. I don’t fake who I am; I just turn the volume up when the lights hit. The stage version is me in bold letters — the private version is the handwriting behind it.”
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
“I hope they say I lived out loud — that I turned every wound into something beautiful and refused to play small. That I created worlds where people like me could exist freely — loud, proud, untamed, and real. I want them to remember that I didn’t wait for permission to shine, that I built art, sound, and fashion from pure conviction. If my story proves anything, it’s that vision can outlive the body — style, sound, and soul never die.”
