We’re looking forward to introducing you to Krislyn Hart Elle. Check out our conversation below.
Krislyn, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What are you chasing, and what would happen if you stopped?
I’m not just chasing success for myself or my business—I’m chasing it for every minority-owned business out there. Too many minority entrepreneurs see their dreams fade within the first five years because of limited knowledge, access, and resources—and I refuse to let that cycle continue.
If I ever stop pushing forward, we risk seeing fewer minority-owned businesses in the future—and that’s simply not an option. I’m here to prove that **we can win, thrive, and build legacies that last.** My mission is to open doors, share knowledge, and make sure the next generation of entrepreneurs doesn’t just follow the path—but runs through it with confidence.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Krislyn—but you can call me Elle! I’m the proud owner of Elle The Digital Marketer Inc., a full-service digital marketing agency based in Lauderhill, Florida. We specialize in creating data-driven strategies that simplify the complexities of digital marketing, giving entrepreneurs the freedom to focus on building their vision. Our approach increases brand awareness, customer engagement, and competitive advantage while removing the stress from your marketing efforts. To date, we’ve proudly worked with over 15 minority-owned businesses across South Florida—and we’re just getting started!
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
The Lord saw me clearly before I could even recognize my own reflection. He showed me what was possible if I stayed disciplined and trusted His plan. At times, we doubt ourselves and think we’re not capable — but when God keeps placing you in certain situations, it’s because He already equipped you for them. Every challenge is preparation. Every delay is protection. And every victory, big or small, is a reminder that His vision for my life is greater than my own. So Keep walking by faith, not by sight — because He’s already seen the version of you that’s ready to receive it all.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
You did it, girl! You grew into an incredible woman. Everything you set your mind to, you made happen. You’ve become one of the best digital marketers in South Florida — and you’re still expanding every year. You are loved, kind, helpful, and breaking barriers with every step.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
A cultural value I protect at all costs is making sure there’s an increase in Black entrepreneurs. Back in 1921, Tulsa, Oklahoma’s Greenwood District—famously known as Black Wall Street—was one of the most successful African-American communities in the country. It represented economic power, ownership, and unity within the Black community.
Today, I believe rebuilding that same mindset is essential—keeping the Black dollar circulating within our own community. In comparison, within the Jewish community, a dollar circulates for about 19 to 20 days. In the Black community, it circulates for only 6 hours. That gap shows how much work we have to do. Supporting Black businesses, mentoring upcoming entrepreneurs, and investing in our own is how we change that.
It’s not just about business—it’s about legacy, empowerment, and creating generational wealth that lasts.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
Yes, because the work that I do isn’t for applause or recognition—it’s so I can continue to increase entrepreneurship in the Black community. My purpose is bigger than praise; it’s about creating opportunities and building a lasting legacy for generations to come.
