Peter Anthoni, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Spending time with my boyfriend and drinking an Aperol Spritz and planning trips.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hey I’m Peter Anthoni and I am the Asst. Sales Director for The Cloud One Hotel and Residences in Wynwood. We are a new development landing in Wynwood in 2027. I’m a realtor in Miami and I specialize in luxury new development projects. It’s a special niche in the real estate industry but I absolutely love it. It combines all of things I am good at such a networking, presenting a beautiful vision for the future, planning fun events, and best of all, international travel. My brand focuses on sharing a vision for the future, connecting people through real estate investment and helping people achieve their goals in order to live the life they have always imagined.
Currently I am working on a brand on a project in Miami’s creative core, Wynwood. It has a rich history as a garment district then evolved into the epicenter of urban art and culture. The neighborhood continues to evolve becoming a top tourist destination for its world famous muralist and open-air museums. The Cloud One Residences comes to Wynwood from Germany and will be the first of its kind in Miami and we are so excited to share it with the world!
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
Earliest memory of feeling power and control was being a gymnast. It was a skill that no one else had, and always impressed people. It’s cool to start doing backflips on the playground when you’re a 9 year old.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
The truth is that I am not afraid of suffering anymore and its because of what I’ve been through. The hard times, the pain, the suffering, teaching you the one quality that will guarantee your success in every situation. RESILIENCE.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
That they are special and unique. I deal with clients who have endless amounts of money and privileged lives that will never know what it means to struggle. It allows them to surround themselves with people who only tell them what they want to hear and that their ideas are unique.The truth is, that what makes us special and ultimately successful in life is how you treat people. That’s it.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
I’m too honest to be misunderstood. Every one in my life knows exactly where they stand and who I am.
