Meet Jorge Perez of Miami

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jorge Perez.

Hi Jorge , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am the creator of The Shut the Fu*k Up Method. This is a book and a movement that was born out of unimaginable heartbreak and profound transformation. After losing both of my parents to cancer—my father to leukemia, despite me being his stem cell donor, and my mother, my best friend, to breast cancer that metastasized to her brain—I was consumed with grief and questions. I became obsessed with understanding why they got sick. That led me deep into the study of epigenetics, neuroplasticity, and quantum physics. I discovered that stress—constant fight-or-flight—was the silent killer. I knew I had to break that cycle for myself and my sister. In this healing journey, I realized a powerful truth: our words are shaping our stress, and stress is shaping our lives. I noticed the biggest block people had to transformation was simple—they couldn’t shut the fuck up about what was wrong. This realization—humbling and raw—sparked the STFU Method. It’s not just a book. It’s my gift to the world. A roadmap to healing, peace, and radical transformation—starting with silence.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. But life is amazing at the same time. I think understanding that life is going to have a lot of ups and downs is the key. I now know that I control how I perceive my life by how and how I narrate what my life is. I am very cautious of what I say, and I can honestly say that if I use my STFU method, I see that life is perfect all the time.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I have been an agent brokering deals with celebrities and brands for the past 20 years. I’m also the creator of The Shut the Fu*k Up Method, a transformational approach that helps people radically shift their lives by learning how to master their words, regulate their nervous system, and stop feeding the stories that keep them stuck. I specialize in the intersection of epigenetics, neuroplasticity, and quantum healing, with a deep focus on how our conversations—internal and external—shape our reality. I’m known for calling out the addiction to complaining and offering a powerful, science-backed path to peace, healing, and personal power. What I’m most proud of is turning the grief of losing both my parents into a message that’s helping others heal. What sets me apart is that I’ve lived it—I’ve felt the heartbreak, done the work, and created a method that’s both deeply spiritual and radically practical.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I love the most about Miami is how metropolitan it has become. I love how accessible it is to the beach. I love how multi-culturally mixed the city is. I grew up in Miami, and I love Miami. What I love the least about Miami is the humidity. 😊
