Meet Elsy of Helping Hands by LC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elsy.

Elsy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My story began at 5 years old. I knew i wanted to be a healer. I was raised by a single mother who came from Venezuela to give me a better life. Her sacrifices taught me early on about resilience, commitment and compassion.
In 2018 I became a Licensed Massage therapist and in 2020 a certified yoga instructor. Through massage therapy combined with yoga i helped my patients manage pain and stress for many years. Eventually I followed the holistic approach all the way and became a Traditional Chinese Medicine Physician in 2023. In my holistic studio, my passion and knowledge for helping others heal naturally strengthens everyday.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Many obstacles along the way became my biggest motivation. Being raised by a strong single mom from Colombia, and witnessing her sacrifices gave me a deep sense of empathy and determination. The path to becoming a TCM Physician tested me in every way. During my final year of training I became a mom of two beautiful babies, less than 11 months apart. Balancing motherhood and working in medicine was one of the hardest seasons of my life. I truly thank God for giving me the strength, patience and purpose to keep going when things felt impossible.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Helping Hands by LC?
