Rising Stars: Meet Brenda Wilson Chin of Miami

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brenda Wilson Chin.

Brenda Wilson Chin

Hi Brenda, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Greetings I am Lady Chin a new artist out of Miami FL officially signed to record label Oceanfront Records in California under the talented CEO/Producer Douglas Hardin a.k.a. Blaque Beethoven who discovered me late November 2024. I am a singer & songwriter & was also the lead singer for the band Midnite Mocean out of Miami Gardens FL. . I just released my first single “KandyLand” late Sept and will be releasing my second new single “Attitude” on Nov 1st 2025. I look forward to not only singing as an artist in the industry but I also would like to have the chance of writing songs for other artists and for film making hits along this new journey as I continue to learn the business etc

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not always been an easy road for me I have gone thru many struggles, trials, and storms thru my life but even my struggles have taught me how to appreciate what life has to offer and how to humble myself in times of difficulties… Coming from a background of not having much, growing up in the projects( ghetto) surviving, drug addicts in the family, etc surviving trauma & abuse mentally, emotionally, and physically was alot to endure

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am currently working as a substitute teacher for Miami Dade Public Schools while pursuing my Music Career as a Neo-Soul Singer/Songwriter. I am proud mostly that I never gave up on my dreams in pursuing my music career since young age and now to finally seeing it happen it’s truly a blessing. I have always been a fighter and go-getter despite what obstacles come my way I never gave up so easily because I always felt that I was destined to become something so big and successful.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
I believe when it comes down to finding a mentor in networking in general it’s best to get out there on your own and do your own research concerning certain things etc which has always worked out for me.
