Hi Jose, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Ice Cream Trucks of South Florida (ICTOSF) was established in 2021. It is a traditional Novelty Ice Cream Mobil Business offering Ice Cream, Soft Drinks, Juices, Hydration drinks, Sodas, all chips. Currently, ICTOSF is a Certified Vendor with the Miami Dade Public School System as well as Miami Dade Community College. We have served Weddings, Picnics, Private Parties and at times we are your neighborhood Ice Cream Vendor, music and all. We are licensed and insured and personilize our service to fit your special event.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting the Corporation from scratch was fun and easy to follow led by the Florida Department of Agriculture, Florida Department of revenue and Miami Dade Office of Education Access, Public School System.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Currently I manage the daily activities of the Business, ICTOSF. Being the owner I am also in charge administratively, logistically and networking. I look at my calendar months ahead to ensure a customer base. If I say we specialize in something its personilizing our product to the customers, their needs and balancing that with what is profit. I tend to deliver what the customers need to make their weddings, parties, events a success. What sets us apart from others is just that, the ability not just to look out for the bottom line as far as profit, but how we profit from repeat customers when you deliver a good product at a affordable price.
