Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Quinones.
Hi Anthony, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always believed that music has the power to transform people — not just in how they sound, but in who they become. Growing up in Miami, I was surrounded by culture, rhythm, and creativity. From a young age, I was fascinated not only by the sound of the voice but by the story and emotion behind it.
My journey really started in small living room sessions — just me, a keyboard, and a few friends who wanted to learn how to sing better. Over time, those informal lessons grew into something much bigger. I discovered that my true gift wasn’t just performing — it was helping others find their voice, both musically and personally. That realization led to the birth of Miami Singing Lessons, which has now evolved into a space where singers can grow, express, and transform.
What began as a few private lessons turned into a full-fledged business that now includes online coaching programs like Vice City Vocals and Vice City Artist Academy. Through these, I get to teach singers, songwriters, and aspiring artists all over the country how to connect to their authentic sound, write meaningful music, and build the confidence to share their art with the world.
It hasn’t always been easy — building something from scratch takes faith, resilience, and a lot of late nights — but my purpose has always been clear. My work is about connection, creativity, and transformation. I want every artist who walks through my doors to leave more empowered than when they came in.
Today, I’m grateful to see how far things have come — from a single idea to a movement that’s inspiring artists to believe in themselves and their craft. For me, this is just the beginning. Miami is filled with incredible talent, and my mission is to help shape a culture of artistry that’s soulful, collaborative, and rooted in purpose.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not a smooth road — and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. The journey has been full of challenges, lessons, and moments that tested my faith and resilience. When I first started teaching, I had no roadmap for turning my passion into a sustainable business. I was just someone who loved helping people sing and connect with their voice, but figuring out how to build systems, attract clients, and stay financially stable took years of trial and error.
There were seasons where I doubted myself — wondering if I was good enough, if the dream was even possible, or if I should just “play it safe.” Like a lot of creatives, I had to face those inner battles between artistry and practicality, passion and pressure.
One of the biggest struggles has been learning how to balance the creative side of what I do with the business side. When you’re the teacher, the marketer, the manager, and the visionary all at once, burnout is always around the corner. There were times I overworked myself trying to do everything alone, and I had to learn how to slow down, delegate, and trust the process.
But those challenges shaped me. They forced me to grow not just as a coach and entrepreneur, but as a person. Every obstacle refined my purpose and reminded me why I do this — to help others unlock their gifts and believe in themselves. The road hasn’t been easy, but it’s been meaningful, and I wouldn’t trade the journey for anything.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
At my core, I’m a vocal coach, artist developer, and creative mentor — but what I really do goes beyond teaching people how to sing. I help artists uncover who they are, what they stand for, and how to express that truth through their voice, their music, and their story.
Through Miami Singing Lessons, I work with singers of all levels to strengthen their technique, expand their range, and develop confidence in both live performance and studio settings. Over time, that mission grew into Vice City Vocals — an online community where singers can train from anywhere — and Vice City Artist Academy, my high-level artist development program that combines vocal mastery, songwriting, branding, and artist identity work.
What sets my work apart is the holistic approach. I don’t just focus on notes and scales; I focus on the person behind the voice. Every session blends technical precision with emotional depth, self-awareness, and artistry. I teach that singing isn’t just about sound — it’s about connection, presence, and storytelling.
I’m most proud of seeing my students transform — not just in their vocal ability, but in how they see themselves. Watching someone go from shy and uncertain to fully alive on stage or in the studio is the most rewarding part of what I do.
What makes my approach different is that it’s rooted in purpose and authenticity. I see the voice as a mirror of the soul — when you free the voice, you free the person. My goal is to help every artist I work with step into that freedom and carry it into their art, their career, and their life.
Any big plans?
Right now, I’m focused on expanding the impact of what we’ve built. I see Miami becoming a true hub for creative excellence — not just a place where artists come to party or chase trends, but where they come to grow. My goal is to help build that culture through education, mentorship, and collaboration.
In the near future, I’m planning to expand Vice City Vocals and Vice City Artist Academy into larger creative ecosystems — programs that not only train singers but help them write, record, and release their own music with confidence and purpose. I want to give artists the full pathway from development to execution, from finding their sound to sharing it with the world.
I’m also looking forward to hosting more live workshops, artist showcases, and community events where singers and songwriters can connect, perform, and grow together. Miami has so much untapped potential, and I want to be part of shaping that next generation of artists who bring something real, soulful, and timeless to the scene.
On a personal level, I’m also working on releasing more of my own music again under my artist name MANYFACEDGXD brand— art that reflects the journey I’ve been on and the message I teach: that beauty, creativity and purpose can transform lives.
So, the future for me isn’t just about scaling a business — it’s about building meaningful connections. One where artists are empowered, communities are uplifted, and the creative process becomes a pathway to wholeness and freedom.
