Conversations with Sara Medioni

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sara Medioni.

Hi Sara, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I start an art school in paris then continue in Nice (south in france). After graduate I worked as a merchandising for habitat a luxurious home shop at monte carlo (monaco). Then left for New York few years to see the Art flow and vibes they have there. I learn English through a school and they love so much my painting the president of the school called a journalist friend of him. Who work for france america news I had an interview with them and been featured in a magazine. Then I left for Miami where I sold some of my art in few boutiques.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Sometimes it’s easy sometimes it is very difficult. When you are not famous or come from a family with a lot of connections it’s a really hard as an artist to made it. But sometimes you get lucky. Its a hard work a lot of closed door but you have to keep trying. One day maybe a door will finily be unlocked and that would be your tikets : )

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I do painting. I have different style.
One is collage. One is mermaids. And the another one is texture of paper.
I use magazines acrylique and resin are my final step for all of them.

What are your plans for the future?
My dream future would be to finily got into an Art gallery . That all artist dream but if not I will try open a shop a small one where I will show my paintings. I will always try because I love what I do and hope that become my full time job..
